the problem for scottish football isnt that scottish players arent good, they have some very good players, the problem is lack of investment from abroad because scotland just inst an attractive prospect for foreign owners or players. For that reason tje majority of the money is with Celtic, even Rangers dont have enough money to buy players. So all the scottish players move to england.

Their national team has some good players, its just the league isnt really a good business prospect.

Until they get to a major tournament, ill stop laughing at them.

The fact they always tend to be in groups with spiain/france/holland and then czech/russia/italy doesnt make it easy for them lol

They are a lot better than some of the teams that england have failed to beat in the past year or so lol

Gordon, Hutton, Fletcher, Adam, Naismith, Fletcher all players who could do well for most teams in the prem, fletcher for a lot of top european teams. Just need more investment in the SPL and theyll start to qualify for tournaments on a regular bases.

Same things happened with the likes of Uruguay and Chile, vry poor funding in their national leagues and now they have that they have very strong national teams and some outstanding players.

Falcao signed for Atletico for 40m. They will have a lethal front 2 in Adrian and Flacao. As for Porto, Hulk can go CF with James Rodrigues moving to wing, he deserves his chance. But could use Kleber he's had a great pre season.

Nothin wrong with Glasgow

Our league is peee poor compared to the English Premier League, but most are!

The groups we've been in have been pretty hard.

Italy, France, Ukraine in the one before last. And only narrowly missed out in that one.

After Smith and Eck left though we were pretty poor last time. Our world ranking is pathetic.

Playing the likes of Argentina and Brazil in friendly might be good to get people watching but just makes it harder for us to get into major tournaments.

Now we've got Croatia, Serbia and Belgium to contend with. Even Belgium have guys like Vermaelen, Kompany, Vertongen, Fellaini, Hazard, Lukaku etc. Stronger than us.

Saying that we have a young squad. And I've personally yet to see Scotland lose at home in a competitive game, and seen the likes of Germany, France, Holland, Italy etc at Hampden. So can give anyone a game at home!

Just the people running it that need to sort themselves out.
