2-0 to Madrid then Man Utd will have to attack them at old trafford leaving them open for counter attack.

Man City were already out by the second Real game, so if anything they had less to play for than Real who would have wanted to come top for an easier route.

And they came very close to losing to City at the Bernabeu. Can look at all the stats you want but needing two goals in the last few wins is the opposite of comfortable.

But in general that game at the Bernabeau was comfortable, City scored twice in a few minutes completely against the run of play, but Madrid could have been out of sight long before, and they always looked like winning after the two goals anyway imo

Mancini was always going to play it like that.

Could just as easily say that Celtic were generally comfortable last night, other than their defensive slips. But that would be naive in my opinion.

Think the Celtic game and this game are different though, Madrid always looked like winning for me, at no point last night after the first few minutes did i think Celtic were going to win

Difference being the quality up top. Celtic don't have that quality.

Tactics by Juve were very Italian. Celtic had the majority of play, shots, corners. And that's despite Celtic's limited ability.

Exactly though, that imo has a difference between being comfortable in a game and just being dominant in a game.

With Madrid they will take their chances, and being dominant in a game it's clear they'll score. With Celtic there's no guarantee.

Anyway I just feel Madrid were more than comfortable over those two games, if they needed they could have stepped up a few levels, City didnt have it in them to compete with them with any real consistence across the games

But they did compete

Don't see how Real could have stepped up in the first game. Like you say they were dominant, just couldn't get a goal that they were obviously desperate for. Hart did well for the most part.

City in the second game had nothing to play for, so silly to say Real could have stepped up there, could easily say that about City.

I feel City stepped up a lot in the second half of the second game whereas madrid didnt and could have easily surpassed City's level imo. At that point at City win would have still given them a chance too

Ronaldo strikes it with so much power and technique on both feet. Really incredible, we are blessed to have witnessed an era with Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho ect Xavi and Iniesta as well

Ronaldo! What a goal

Ozil and Di Maria are real class too imo, latter a bit inconsistent though

There is your equaliser for you...

we'll probably see these types of players more regularly tbh because more people want to play football and are aspiring to be at their level

Ozil is an amazing player, really is. Shame he left Bundesliga, and didn't join Bayern when he had the chance, but love him nonetheless

LRF is a great commentator

LRF doesn't do commentaries like me

I've decided Ozil is the next player I want on here.

True Wilshere definitely agree there, think the way they are coached and are able to see how the likes of Messi play is a real help too.

Boga is the next one

LRF: "It's an absolute great free-kick! Right over the wall from 25 yards!! But questions got to be asked about the keeper there, should have saved it, straight down the middle into the roof of the net..."

Press: "LRF, what do you think about your leagues?"

LRF: "Is there any need to answer that I mean come on..."

Press: "Do you feel your commentating is better than LSTD's?"

LRF: "Again, really?"

Press: "No more questions."

Lstd, I really think we need to find a new manager for City

How can you part of a League but not comment at all for 7 months?
