official club statement released and it says he has suffered an injury, needs tests but might not be serious

not necaserally true no one knows how bad an injury it is. but tbh he was that good last season until he was able to play deeper and just break up play.
when he returns if he misses start of season i think we will only use him as a DM, he wont have to make as many runs forward and allows him to sit a break up play. let ramires do the running so dont think its too serious tbh.
if its a long injury then we have essien, last time we won the league mikel was our DM and hes got better so fine with him and maybe fernando of porto brought in as back up as he has been linked a few times
