18m is ridiculous, hes a good player but very inconsistent. and if your bidding that much for him i doubt you will go for mata too which would be silly. Youd get in a lot more crosses but you usually only play RVP and hes not really a player who is always in the box

sky sources rarely get things wrong though, especially transfer bids

mcleish is proving to be quite clever though sell young and downing for nearly 40m and get nzogbia and diego for like 30m

nzogbia imo very good player and would be a good replacement for young. if they get diego for a relativly cheap fee and they can get him back to something like his best theyd have an amazing signing.

very surprised at the prices of english players though atm. we could sell lampard for 50m lol

also if you want someone with a good cross bosingwa is available for less than 10m

cant defend thoush so play him RM or RW where you can actually let him attack which hes good at

while your at it anelka can come back to you too and if your kind and give us nasri we will chuck in malouda

35m could get you some improvements to your team, ie rossi upfront and a good replacement for modric

every player has their price but 35mil dosnt help us - 30mil for berba when we had defoe and bent aswell i think was a good deal for us and so was 20mil for carrick as hes abit rubbish lol

rossi not really a good lone striker and the only player who would replace modric is huddelstone as i doubt we would get anybody better than him

im sure 35-40m would be enough to get you very close to getting Lass Diarra and Rossi who would make your team better imo

rossi pretty good on his own imo, youd have Vaart who would be supporting him too

if you dont sell than thats fair enough but if any player wants to go i think its generally better to sell for as much as possible.

chelsea could just go for Pastore anyway, think he is more what we are looking for atm as he gets good amount of goals too so would mean lampard wasnt having to be used all the time so he gets a rest like how united use scholes. moutinho too is an option but would like hamsik above anyone else

dont need l.diarra as we have huddlestone and sandro for that role - i like diarra but hes not a modric type player

modric has like 4/5 years left on his contract so not like we have to sell soon and if we get CL im sure hed be happy again

thats the problem though he wants to win things, whats the chance of spurs finishing in CL with chelsea united and city all looking likely to get quite a bit stronger this summer and arsenal potentially improving, let along being able to win CL and prem

i think modric is just happy to be in CL

and arsenal look more likley to get worse let alone better and we have like 4 seasons to get stronger and convince him to stay

he wont stay for 4 more seasons, doubt he will be with you next season if your not in CL eventually he'll just refuse to play lol his agents done that before with one of his players
