really it shows that man utd have the best manager as he gets the best out of his team without spending much although you have to remember that ronaldo left for 80m which is far higher than any of the other clubs have made on a player

man city have the highest spending to win an fa cup

tottenham have spent loads for one season in the CL and a carling cup

arsenal havent spent anything but still managing to stay in the top 4.

chelsea spent a lot but most of that 3-4 years ago and have acheived a lot of success from it

and chelsea are the only team there who havent sold there best players on

Think Gervinho is more of a replacement for Bendtner JET, but he can actually play wing Much better as a player also and gives us more options. We cant sell players unless we replace them, which is why Almunia & Bendtner have been allowed to speak to other clubs.

I wouldn't be worried at all if we had to chuck Gervinho in big games, whereas with bendtner, it would be different.

gervinho nothing like bendtner tbh far far better player and different style. your just getting rid of bendtner you dont need a replacement he never did anything anyway lol

I know he is nothing like Bendtner. He never did anything because he played right wing 18 times out of his 23 matches last season We bought Gervinho as he can play wing and is different from our normal wingers.

not too bad thought he might miss the whole season, hopefully we give him a month or two afterwards to get him back up to full fitness

thats only the first half of the season could have been a lot worse weve been without him for a lot longer in the past and managed mikel is better than last time essien was injured for a long spell too now, ramires is here too and i think they both had better seasons than essien last year so yh wouldnt say its too bad.
