Plus they have Nacho Nove
Think most have young players with the u21 rule. Not got a young first XI but still got
Evans, WIilson, Rafael and Gibbs. Could be a decent defence, personally rate Evans even if he does take a lot of stick.
Walcott, Alvarez(23 tho),Lacazette, Miyachi, Damiao(23). Cattermole aslo 23.
Then Giovinco as well who is establishing himself now.
i read his autobiography it wasnt bad
Sunderland vs West Bromwich
After losing in the last seconds to Birmingham, Sunderland looked to bounce back against a West Brom team who have only won twice all this season. Sunderland started the strongest, Lamela playing through Anelka. The veteran striker then fired at goal but Joe Hart pushed it wide. Sunderland went close again, Menez played a cross across the face of goal but Lescott slid for it and stopped Anelka making it 1-0. Albion after that came more in to the game, they nearly went 1-0 up when Turan's cross turned in to a shot and hit the bar. This was a wake up call for Sunderland and they took the lead courtesy of Nicholas Anelka. Elia's low shot was deflected by Anelka's toe and in to the back of the net. He then ran in front of the West Brom fans and cupped his ears to them. The game died down after that and the game became scrappy. West Brom came out in the second half looking fired up and just a minute after the restart Parker played a lovely through ball which Pepe ran on to. Pepe put in a cross and Carroll looked certain to score but he somehow skied it. Sunderland came forward with Menez who took it to the byline and lofted it to the edge of the area where Lamela volley looked certain to go in however a Phil Jagielka block saved West Brom. West Brom then counter attacked, Turan raced away down the left wing and ran straight at goal, it was a 3 on 1 situation as many Sunderland players were still in the other half. Turan squared it to Parker who then laid off Carroll and his shot was brilliantly saved by Kameni but Turan ran on to the rebound and equalized which sent the West Brom fans in to raptures. For the next 15 minutes West Brom attacked and somehow didn't make it 2-1 when Pepe found Carroll with a cross and Carroll had a free header but diverted it wide. Much to the Sunderland fan's delight. Srna, Dos santos and Raul Garcia came on for Sunderland as they looked for the win. In the 78th minute, Srna floated a ball in to the box which Joe Hart came for but Anelka headed it down for Dos Santos and he half volleyed it home. Then it was West Brom's turn to attack, they came forward and were gave a soft penalty when Carroll was shoulder barged to the floor by Juan. Carroll took the penalty, and smashed it against the cross bar. Then Sunderland counter attacked, they somehow didn't make it 3 when Dos Santos raced away down the right and put a cross in for Anelka who had an open goal but he somehow put the ball over from 6 yards. Doumbia then came on for Gargano as Kanga threw all of his cards on the table. West Brom threw everybody forward in search of an equalizer. Then in the dying embers of the game, West Brom scored. Much to the anger of Sunderland. The four minutes of added on time were up but West Brom were on the attack. Doumbia went forward and shot from outside of the box but it was blocked only to Andy Carroll who smashed the ball in to the top corner. This cued mass celebrations in the West Brom end as Carroll jumped in to the crowd and celebrated with them. He then ran back to the centre circle cupping his ears to the Sunderland fans. There was no time left, as the full time whistle went cueing mass boo's from the Sunderland fans.
Full Time Score: Sunderland 2-2 West Bromwich Albion
Sunderland Goal Scorers:
Anelka 37 (Elia)
Dos Santos 82 (Anelka)
West Brom Goal Scorer:
Turan 63
Carroll 90 + 4
Sunderland MOTM: Nicholas Anelka - 8.
Scored one, set up one. The veteran striker proving he's still got it and could of had another goal if it wasn't for a great goal saving block from Jagielka. Unlucky not to win.
West Brom MOTM: Andy Carroll - 8.
Scored one of West Brom's goal of the season. And one of their most important as well. Showed a lot of mental strength as well after missing a penalty to get the equalizer.
Twice in two weeks now, what did I ever do to you Vince?
nothing lol, west brom's team was better than yours but you did better tactics. So had to be kind to someone Wouldn't want to be kind to you after the 4-4 incident. I was in bits TJ, I was in bits :'(
I was at home, you should have been more generous to me!
I once left Villa just to let you join them you know and this is what I get in return...
Silva has scored for City.
I guess he does get me points for my fantasy team...
So what has happened to Luka?
Hull vs Arsenal
The KC stadium welcomed Arsenal today at a sell out at Humberside. Arsenal looked to show some bounce-back-ability after a shock draw in mid week to Lille in the Champions League. Hull got off to a good start, Neymar danced through the Arsenal defence and played through Lisandro but Lisandro could only fire at Reina. Arsenal had their turn to attack and it was route one stuff. Reina goal kick went over the Hull defence and Villa ran on to it and he tried to lob Steklenburg only for it to come off the bar. Arsenal continued to attack and they took the lead in the 29th minute. De Rossi playing a long ball towards Villa who chested it down and laid it off to Silva just outside the penalty box and the spaniard fired it in to the bottom corner. Arsenal attacked again and should of doubled their lead when Ronaldo played a cross across the face of goal and somehow Villa hit the post from six yards out. Hull couldn't get back in to the game and on the stroke of half time, Arsenal doubled their lead. Young put in a corner and Vidic headed it home and silenced the Hull supporters. The half time whistle went and the Hull players were boo'd off. They came back our looking ashened face, however they looked more confident going forward and the midfield were playing neat passing triangles trying to create chances. A few minutes later Hull went forward again, Vidal finding Milner out wide. Milner cut inside and curled a cross in which turned in to a shot and it struck the post. Hull continued to come forward and found their way back in to the game when Milner's cross was flicked on by Gabby and it looped over Reina and in to the back of the net. Liverpool pushed for the equalizer but they wasted chances including when Bent was clean through with only the keeper to beat but he decided to play the ball across to Neymar but over hit the pass. The game became a midfield battle in the last ten minutes but Hull should of had a penalty when Bent was clattered by Vidic. No penalty. The full time whistle went soon after.
Full Time Score: Hull 1-2 Arsenal
Hull City Goal Scorer: Gabby 72 (Milner)
Arsenal Goal Scorers: Silva 29 (Villa), Vidic 45 + 2 (Young)
Hull MOTM: James Milner - 8 - Created chances, got an assist, unlucky not to score and also be on the winning side.
Arsenal MOTM: David Silva - 8 - He created most of Arsenal chances and got an goal. Great shift from him.
not too bad then, am getting there..
Gabby - 3 starts - 3 subs = 7 goals
Hat-trick in cup
2-2! QPR fans doing poznan
Chelsea could have beaten this time with 9 men if it hadn't been for some bad pen decisions! That's 9 men, a team of 30+ year olds pretty much running around against 11 men! And without torres, Mata, Drogba or Sturridge for the majority of the game!
Oh 3-2 now
As soon as Balotelli comes on
Am I being deluded or are these people being completed 'tarded sayign Song, Koscielny, Wilshere and Modric are world class?
http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/54260
Would possibly put Modric in that category, but even then thats at a push.
So yes they are.
how much would you rate Lisandro at?
Yes they are.
All good players but not world class, maybe just maybe Modric and Wilshere in the future but the others certainly arent.
Id they are then Bosingwa is world class!
I consider world class to be top 5 in your respective position. Do you really think Modric is a top 5 CM?
I must admit I've heard worse, on a Youtube video about Fabio and Rafael some bloke said to me that Davide Santon was world class.
Then I gave him some sort of arguement (can't remember what) and he said so are you trying to say Van der Wiel and Srna aren't world class?
Apparantly Song is better than all of Khedira, Busquets and Mascherano too...
And is on par with Clarence Seedorf is his prime too...
soz i aint been on in ages been really busy - thought id have been replaced tbh - give norwich to somebody else and hopefully in the future ill rejoin
luka - how are you fella...
