I don’t care about football in general atm
I used to watched a hell of a lot football but the first pandemic and football stopping I didn’t miss it much.
Since I only watch our games but only out of obligation and no other matches. I’ve even missed Spurs games recently to watch random craaaaap with the wife.
On our manager search I’ve been on Ten hag since day one and still am over everyone including conte & poch

I have enjoyed football in general. In fact I have enjoyed watching other games than I have Spurs. You get less stressed and bothered. Throughly enjoyed the CL final.

See I only tuned in for about 10 mins and then turned off, years ago I would’ve watched the build up, match & presentation.
Think I’m just tired of being let down over and over by either Spurs or England.
Still will carry on blessing everyone with my knowledge

yeh I get that and I was the same with you, started to miss a few Spurs games for the first time. Just had no real interest in the end under Jose. Wasn’t just Mourinho though, as apart from a select few, the players were an utter shambles last season. I see it being no different this season, so I’d rather just throw the towel in with Spurs and maybe go enjoy a local team. Watch the premier league like I would normally, but don’t invest my feelings into the shambles that is Tottenham Hotspur. They are so not worth it, even more so now I have a little one.
At the moment I haven't been caring as I've had far more important things going on in my life.
This whole managerial saga has been a fiasco. From seemingly not being any closer to having a new manager a couple of months on, to changing the profile of manager we're looking for on a regular basis.

Think not being able to week in week out at MK has taken my enthusiasm out too. Loved just going and watching and not actually caring about the result.
Few beers, hot dog and banter with mates while a game is on was perfect.
Maybe once we get back to normal I’ll feel different.
Going to take this now as a good time to take a break from here too actually.

It’s a joke ain’t it mate. We want a manager to bring back our DNA but let’s waste a whole week interviewing Conte, knowing full well we won’t be signing him up I mean, you just couldn’t make it up could you. It will be Parker or Martinez just you watch. I know you wanted Potter, but surely that would be extremely underwhelming now after having Conte at the table ready to sign.
OP - why are you assuming that it's Levy's fault? It might be, but from what I've read, it may well be that Conte's demads were unreasonable and Levy did the right thing distancing himself.
I don't know and I doubt whether you do either. I'm just not comfortable with him being slagged off constantly.

Don, you sound highly fed up.
I am my usual enthusiastic self, and can wait for it to start again in August. I am already missing my weekend fix of Spurs. I shall give the boring Euros a miss, absolutely no interest in International football these days, so many average players of all International sides get capped. But I will be raring to go come August, whoever the manager is.

I know Don, absolute shambles.
Shows how clueless Levy is as a football man if he didn't realise how much financial backing Conte would want. I guess it's one thing if he wants to be a cheapskate, and we know that will have to change if we want to get anywhere, but it's another if he is completely clueless about football matters like expecting Conte to just come in with his hands tied behind his back. Just gone and wasted a week that could have been used to move us forward. This is what Levy does all the time with transfer windows though.

It's great, went to support my village team and saw the linesman sent off 😂
And yeah I still want Potter, Don, or ETH. Conte would never have been my first choice. He's a very good manager and I would have accepted him but there are things about him that don't float my boat. And we have to be honest with ourselves, for all the excitement around him, he wouldn't guarantee trophies at Spurs. As has been shown he would need big spending, just as anyone else would if we are to win stuff at Spurs, and Levy isn't prepared to do that. Credit to him for walking away, I rate him a bit higher as a manager now.
TBH I never quite get why supporters get so wound up about who the manager is. There will never be another Billy Nicholson.

As farcical as the process has been, I see Potter as a better long term fit than Conte for spurs.
Conte and Levy is a marriage made in hell. Conte woukd want players, Levy will insist on being frugal. Why your Chairman is flip flopping in terms the type of manager he wants would worry me.
Levy has used the media to sell season tickets. Its a crass thing to do, but has probably worked. Rodgers would be ideal, but is probably unobtainable, as he has a more developed side and in terms of budget has as much as spurs to spend. The next realistic option is Potter or maybe Gerrard. What you need is a progressive manager who can utilise a budget and improve your young players. The aim should be a long term appointment. Conte is a decisive character, a less arrogant but an angrier Jose who plays sterile but effective football.

I’m just about done with them mate. Have no interest in Levy’s yes men Sandy. We are going nowhere under his 4th choice men

Sunday league football is the way to go lads. Get down and watch you local team. Have a cig with a can of cold beer and hurl abuse at some of the oppo players

At the moment I haven't been caring as I've had far more important things going on in my life.
This whole managerial saga has been a fiasco. From seemingly not being any closer to having a new manager a couple of months on, to changing the profile of manager we're looking for on a regular basis.

It’s a joke ain’t it mate. We want a manager to bring back our DNA but let’s waste a whole week interviewing Conte, knowing full well we won’t be signing him upI mean, you just couldn’t make it up could you. It will be Parker or Martinez just you watch. I know you wanted Potter, but surely that would be extremely underwhelming now after having Conte at the table ready to sign.
