WHAT he say's is who want to invest in a club how's fan act as they did against Man U, and i can see his point, people want to invest in a clubs image family focus, not hooligan focus, and the trouble at the Man U game GOT WORLD WIDE PUBLICITY,

Were not helping ourself's are we, its not just Bates prices that are keeping fans away, if you had a family would you bring them to Elland rd after seeing the (minority) thug like hooligans.

let's disregard the man utd trouble which no proper fan would condone, the protests about lack of investment has caused the lack of investment, how does that work?

If my business model was based on:
1. spend only enough to maintain a top half/edge of playoffs team
2. extract as much cash and profits as I can
3. invest in long term real estate projects
4. all underwritten by a (for this league) huge fan base continuing to shell out high prices in large numbers, because they are gul;lible enough to expect success on the pitch is not far away..............

then I would counter anyone who would not play along with this (press, sections of the fans, supporters clubs etc), by banning them where I could, spinning against them where I could, throwing lots of FUD about and trying to make the people who are calling it as it is, appear to be the real enemies of everything Leeds fans want......

Thats what I'd do

If I had that as my business model

Now, I wonder what business model Ken has, and what he is doing? Obviously I have no idea as I have never heard him explain his long term business objectives. No doubt they are completely different to the hypothetical ones I laid out above. I wonder what they are?

and mr. bates your performance at our last home game, you performance at our last home game, having a fan removed and then going on to show your contempt for the fan base by behaving like a navvy on pay day helped how exactly?

Sorry I hope this is more legible, and mr. bates your performance at our last home game, having a fan removed and then going on to show your contempt for the fan base by behaving like a navvy on pay day helped how exactly?

the biggest hooligan element in our club is this charmless neanderthal, I would not go as far as to say he is directly responsible for what happened after the Utd game but Mr Bates doesn't help things.

People have been ready to invest and are ready to invest.

They know full well the protests are to do with bates only and have only come about after a hell of a lot if patience.

It's typical bates to blame anyone bit himself.

He has been saying he's been looking for investment for nearly 7 years and been spectacularly unsuccessful.

The protests of the last few weeks are not the reason why, bates is the reason why.

bates' assertions are nonsense, I've watched dragon's den and all pete, theo, debs, dunc and that tarsvestite geezer are interested in is whether they will turn a profit, the responsibility for not gaining inward investment lies entirely with the actios of the board and not with the fans, hooligans or otherwise

"So the lack of investment before the Manu game was due to what...?"

Indeed!

I was wondering that myself when I read his comments by the OP.

Incredible!
