Watching at home was unbearable so thoughts to everyone that was in the stadium

Well done to England for cancelling their conference tonight and instead wising Eriksen well instead 👌… football not important

Just hearing that Denmark - Finland will restart later tonight which is really surprising, not sure anyone could play after that

This has gone on twitter.

Christian Eriksen is out of danger, his father told me from the hospital. He’s able to speak”. Martin Schoots, Eriksen agent, just added to NOS. 🙏🏻 #prayforEriksen

Official: Eriksen conditions are stable and the match restarts at 20.30 CET.

I was genuinely upset. I thought I had just seen someone die and they kept showing it. Words fail me.

Thank God he’s ok.

In disbelief they’re playing the game. Football isn’t important.

That was fecking horrible to watch. Can't believe his wife was there to witness that.

The cameras focussing in on his wife was more disturbing

Apparently the game is still gongs ahead tonight!

The BBC must make a full public apology to Eriksen, Eriksen’s wife and the British taxpayers.

Agree Culer. Tough job, not made any easier with the feigning of injury and cheating...needs to be stamped out immediately so real crisis is quickly recognized.

“Wow! In a quite astonishing turn of events, the Danish FA have reported that the game will resume at 7.30pm BST once their players have been reassured that Christian Eriksen is in a stable condition. The last four minutes of the first half will be played, followed by a five-minute half-time break and then the second half. Belgium v Russia will also go ahead.“

BBC are not responsible for the pictures. It's UEFA.

They must have done. They can’t get away with showing someone who (at the time) was effectively dead. They also showed his wife in distress. All without the affected parties’ consent.

on a slightly different note, the refs so far seem to letting a lot go and not falling for the players dives/yelps/falling over under any contact.

I genuinely think Taylor should be given an award for that. Imagine if he thought Eriksen was feigning injury and didn’t signal for the medics for even just 30 seconds. It could’ve been different potentially.

Can you imagine his Mum and Dad watching that game on TV or his family if they weren’t in the stadium? Absolutely disgusting. Remember we paid for that!

Hmmm fine upto them but when that happens he is far from out the woods. The next few days will be critical for him.

Wouldn’t be surprised to not see him play again.

The BBC is a public service organisation. If they were the ones responsible for that broadcast (some say it was UEFA) then there should be a full public enquiry with said persons held entirely responsible.

I am disgusted with the way they sadistically carried on showing Eriksen lying prone on the floor. They then topped it off by showing his wife in turmoil.

Pigs.
