This is why I didn't get why Southgate didn't make more changes in normal time. The Danes were dead on their feet after 70 minutes and the changes they made were all to contain. We could probably have won it in normal time had we brought on Foden or Sancho to try and make something happen.

Great stuff, bring on the final.

Credit to Denmark who played really well and were the better team for chunks of the game, England not as good in midfield this night. Rice and Philips didn’t protect the defence as well and the likes of Mount, Saka then Grealish flitted around without doing much. But Maguire, Sterling and Kane were excellent.

Key moment of the game to me was when the Danes made a triple substitution midway through the second half and surprisingly took off a couple of their liveliest players. From that moment on there was no fluidity to their game and England had much more time on the ball. From then it was just a matter of whether England could find a goal

England by far the better team. I expect a routine 2-0 win in the final. Italy looked poor against Spain.

England celebrating like they've already won it already. Not a great performance, hate the way they tried to squeeze the life out of it at 2-1 instead of taking the chance to go and kill the game positively with goals. But hey we're in a final for the first time in my lifetime. Mustn't grumble

No, if England win then the Scottish can claim to be the only team they didn’t beat, slightly delusional but we’ll go for it, same as when we beat England in 1967.

Wolves have agreed to sell 22-year-old Portuguese defender Ruben Vinagre to Sporting Lisbon in an £8.6m deal.

Not bad since we got him from Monaco in 2018 for just over 2m.

That is an excellent fee. Don't think he got a fair crack with us in the end after looking great early doors, wouldn't be that surprised if he moves again for 20+ in the next few years

I think sporting are getting a good deal there, there's still a lot of potential in him if it can be harnessed properly.

Don't Wolves have a 50% sell on clause in that Sporting deal? So if he does move for big money in the future then we get half of it.
