Watched it the other day (Liam Hannigan's show) and can't see the show surviving very long in it's current format. Especially losing some advertisers very early on.
It's not actually reporting news in the traditional sense, but offering debate on current affairs. May tune in from time to time but from what I saw the other day it's a bit Radio Norwich for me. Ahh-haaa!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've attempted to watch it 5 or 6 times and on each occasion there has been a technical issue within minutes of me turning on.
They need to get more professional very quickly or advertisers won't hang around.
Its a shame as we desperately need a fresh News channel that can shake BBC/Sky out of their slumbers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whilst the technical issues can be overcome, I don't think it will ever reach the standards of the likes of BBC or Sky. But I don't think they are trying to anyway, as the format is more of a magazine type broadcaster.
Just had a look, and they were discussing the "benefits" of deregulating the UK economy...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You say "benefits" as it it's completely inconceivable that there are any potential benefits to deregulating the economy....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When compared to the detriments, no.
It needs to move more to the right

Exactly, guys such as Piers Corbyn and the far left hsve been against govt lockdown, but some think this is some far right coup.
GB news, including those concerned about lockdown govt extensions, condemned the abuse of the Mewsnight guy, as do I.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
So there are benefits then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
for the entire nation there are no benefits to deregulation. for a few extremely rich people, the sort of hedge fund people who stumped up the £60m to fund this disgrace there are defeinitely some.
Misleading and lying will always benefit someone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I love how when people are steadfastly against an idea (which I am in this case by the way) that they refuse to accept that it could even be discussed....
Hilarious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
where in that statement do I say that?
nowhere, you applying for a job on GBnews?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They, GB news, appear to have triggered a few.

Since it had a posh bint defending a nonce royal yesterday I can’t see it lasting very long, and the fact one of its main presenters was peddling his anti lockdown rhetoric which enabled a BBC presenter to get abused/attacked yesterday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So if GB news didn't exist then the BBC news reporter wouldn't have been abused then? is that what you are saying?

Was that the silent majority having their say?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
GBnews, Wooton, Clare Fox and all there condemned the protesters, who were opposing a boris govt lockdown extension, attacking the BBC guy.
Opposition to lockdown is not just right wing, btw.

Exactly, guys such as Piers Corbyn and the far left hsve been against govt lockdown, but some think this is some far right coup.
GB news, including those concerned about lockdown govt extensions, condemned the abuse of the Mewsnight guy, as do I.
