I agree with what you say, but I'll judge them when they come up against one of the favourites, i.e. France, Belgium, Portugal.

Now we have seen all the teams at least once, it looks like one of the following:

Italy
Belgium
France
Plus, maybe Portugal as the next best.

Of the other "players"
England - forget it
Spain - clearly not as good and will fall short against the main three above
Germany - steady. Will do quarters as usual, but have dropped a couple of levels over the last few years.
Netherlands - look good going forward, but usually fall short of the main contenders, as England always do.

They definitely aren't going under the radar but people rightly see France as a better team.

Italy second favourites for me, Portugal third. England fourth.

Still going to be France or Portugal. Italy have beaten a very poor Turkey team and a limited Swiss side. Worth noting they were at home for both matches also.

France beat Germany in Munich.

England will lose the first knockout. Wales to go the furthest of the home nations again

Immobile Sandy. Definitely worth a purchase if we lose Harry. Older but still a quality striker and plays for Lazio, so you are not trying to prize him away from the huge clubs

pretty sure i put them as my dark horses in the prediction thing as did a fair few others.

They play some good football and are clearly altogether as a team, Mankini is doing a good job.

I think I read/heard somebody say that Italy's achilles heel may come down to the fact that, against the top nations, they may just fall short in attack as they don't have a so-called "top striker".

Immobile has 150 goals in 5 seasons for Lazio, so I'm not sure how much more he can do to be considered a top striker. The big club/name theory seems to be what goes against him.

Wouldn't read too much into betting for this one.

The bookies know loads of England fans are completely deluded so can offer terrible odds and still rake in the cash.
