Good price that! If we do sell him, it will help us to get couple of very decent players!

Kane is worth more than Ousmane Dembele and Countinho. Guarantees you more goals than Neymar so I think anything between 120 and 150m is Kanes price.

If Kane wants to win Champions League then he needs to command champions league winning fee. Its that simple.

posted on 17/6/21

Think about what Coutinho went for, now add in he is as close to a guarantee of 20 league goals a season as you can get, he counts as home grown and he has just started to become a top playmaker also.

Pre pandemic I would of said the price would be £200m for an English club, so £150m now is definitely fair. It’s time for those clubs who are constantly linked to put up or shut up.

Kane can play til hes 40 like Sheringham and Zlatan.

He's not reliant on pace. He's game intelligent as his stats and all around game show.

So that's what another 11-12yrs left.

Still worth it. Even with the yearly injury.

Exactly, he has never had pace, just know how and deadly finishing. Now he has added creative play making to his armour.

In terms of injuries, he has not really had anything too serious just semi biscuit ankles that keep him out for 6-8 games a season, managed properly he will be very reliable.

good if this is actually true

what we need to do is make it clear if someone comes in for £150m we will listen, if not hes staying. no mickey mouse swap offers

Kane needs to move on to prove himself at a really big club. He is currently a big fish in a small pond. Basically just a poor man's Steve Bull with dodgy ankles thrown in.

That's an obscene amount of money.

We all might as well call it a night if a team can afford to lump on 150 million.

There is no guarantee we will be able to get a couple of decent replacements, first we have to persuade them to join Spurs and most top players are already playing for CL clubs, so we would have to offer them mega wages to prize them away. Then, other clubs will be like us, not wanting to lose their better players and holding out for top dollar.

We will almost certainly be having to take a gamble on some younger players with potential, or players with contracts running down.

We must do all we can to keep Kane and build a new team around him, that is the safest option and the one most likely to see us return to the top 4.

But, IF he must leave, then £150m should be the least we accept, with no cast offs as part of a deal.

£150m could buy us Ings, Sabitzer, Lamptey, Anderson and Milenkovic. If we can shift some more of the deadwood then we can probably get someone like Ward Prowse also.

It does feel like the right time to sell Kane

I reckon Levy would sell for 120m.

Not for next season. 3 years left. He's a massive influence around the club. As well as the points raised above, Levy would be ripping the heart out of the team if he was to sell.

The injury thing is unfair. He’s only had a couple of injuries longer than 6 weeks and it doesn’t help that he plays every game of every competition. Something that wouldn’t happen at City.

I think he’ll go for around £130m

We could buy most of those without selling Kane, I take no notice of Levy`s propaganda, we will have some money to spend.

We are not replacing Kane`s 50+ goal involvements by signing Danny Ings. It is never the right time to sell one of the best centre forwards in the world, England captain and club legend.

What's the odds of Levy digging his heels in panicking at the thought of a Kane hattrix for City in front of a home crowd in the opening day. So he sells him after the first round of matches and then we are panciking around with 2 weeks left to find replacement.

It's not like he doesn't have previous for this is it...

I would expect nothing less from Levy.

I cant see anyone in the current climate paying that figure. When u could get a much, much younger Haaland or mbappe for a bit more I think Levy knows he is pricing Lane out of a move.

Now it's down to how Kane reacts. Model pro but if Spurs carry on with their level of investment it's unlikely Kane will be winning a trophy any time soon. Lanes body language and way he was talking about his future (and him deciding it) would suggest he had some sort of agreement with Levy.

Expect Levy to play hardball but kinda feel Kane is gonna be the one to miss out. If spurs and their star man fall out over this it could have some bearing on whether good players want to come to spurs in the future. Levy has to tread very very carefully.

It really isn't though, and it'll be worth less and less obscene over the next couple of years as inflation continues.

The reality is that it'll take us 250m (buying several players) and a lot more than we are paying him in wages to replace Kane so I wouldn't budge.

posted on 17/6/21

It's commendable that Levy is setting the price so high as it would cost us quite a lot to get someone younger who is good at fnishing and setting up others. However, if we did sell Kane, I don't for a minute trust Levy to go out and try to get quality players, instead he will go and find cheaper versions, who will in turn replace the deadwoods, with more deadwoods.
Like the magnificent 7 he got is when we sold Bale

No PL club, including City is going to pay 150m for Kane.

City's transfer record is 68m for de Bruyne

It's absurd money.

Harry Kane is in the top three strikers in the world.

He is also irreplaceable to spurs

So if someone wants him then £150 million us about right.

United paid £80 for Harry maguire!
