I'm not too sure about Maddison and what's happening with his situation at the moment. A talented player without doubt but a few issues have come up with him this season, I'm not sure if there is something behind the scenes with him.

Get Calvert Lewin and Mahrez

We should sell Rob Holding and keep Saliba

We should sell Aubameyang and buy Las Vegas.

I haven't watched him much tbh, but he better be good for that kind of money.

Haven't seen enough of BW to judge his defensive capabilities, but if Joel Veltman stood out enough for his ball playing abilities we are screwed.
As VdV said earlier about Maguire: defenders with those kind of ball playing skills are a dime a dozen in our sunday league.

Good player who I think will be an excellent signing however you have to imagine 50 mill is a sizeable chunk of Arsenals budget. They need far more than Ben White to challenge for top 4 imo.

It’s a laughable transfer for a number of reasons before the transfer fee is even considered. Artitler is doing his best to destroy what’s left of this circus of a franchise

If this is the only marquee signing then it will be very disappointing. Hopefully better and more urgently required players will follow.

Gonna have to sit on this one for a while to decide whether I'm happy with it

If, as we all hope, he’s a success at the club, he could end up playing for us for 6-7 years. The fee becomes less of a problem. Who knows, in a couple of years time he could look like a steal.

All depends how well he does in the end. Only time will tell.

Unless we've got unlimited cash then £15m would be about right. Any higher and the club should walk away

On the plus side it looks like you are throwing some money around. Need a few more signings to turn it around, but the budget might be there…

Ball playing is all well and good but isn't he like 5ft 9? If he is being played at right back, couldn't we get cheaper? I'm not sure this is the necessity. If we have a decent midfield then the defence we have now would suffice.

Well that's something at least. Definitely over paying but if an upgrade on Holding/Chambers as current RCB options then good business for me provided this is only the beginning of summer rebuild

Interesting signing, no way to know whether it's clever business until we see the rest of our business at the end of the summer.

I agree that £50m seems high but keep in mind you pay a premium for English players!

50 m in 2021 for a player that you may have for 5-6 years is not bad at all. And it's not our fecking money! damned if they spend, damned if they dont
