Hahahaha
Still not managed to tell everyone what I’m doing that is either wrong or illegal then?
Just your own moral standards which have essentially fwck all to do with absolutely anything at all, whatsoever?
And we’re the morons?
Irony is lost on you pal. I hope you enjoy wallowing in your self righteousness and indignation. So much so I’m delighted to tell you I’m off to Ibiza week before my first main holiday of the year. Can’t wait.
So you cry into your hands all you want. In fact the more you do, the more I’ll revel in it.
You can’t even give a simply or logical reason as to why people shouldn’t travel where they are legally entitled to do so. Not one.
You’re a pathetic little worm who is best instructed as to how to live their life. Good luck because it sounds a miserable as fwck.
Give us some more of that moralising just for a laugh eh?

I'll be interested to see how some people on this thread think when everyone has been double dosed. Will they still call everyone a murderer simply for wanting to resume life again?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't believe I am agreeing with this thundercunt for once
It’s not illegal but it does still seem a bit daft. It’s the idiots that booked holidays straight after first lockdown- morons that then lost money or had them cancelled I feel the least sympathy for.

Probably.
But too many have become far too accustomed to the safety of lockdown to the point where rationale is lost and have zero appetite for normal risk or are able to quantify it. Mix that with the moral posturing as we see evident in that dafty and it’s a heady mix to the point where they actually and genuinely believe they have a right to both dictate how everyone else should behave and abuse them if they don’t.
What a miserable existence made even worse by using the deaths of thousands as some kind of stick to beat everyone else up with and label them as killers. Quite sick behaviour in all honesty.

I’m sorry but why is it daft?
All of Europe allows free travel. All of it, yet they are way behind us in vaccinations and have already acknowledged that the Delta variant will constitute over 90% of their cases by August. Closing borders slows the spread down but will not prevent it.
If Europe decide as a bloc to make U.K. citizens self isolate then so be it. That will be their law which we will all comply with one way or another.

Wallowing in other people’s disappointment then, that’s not really a sign of good mental health
We “lost” holidays and breaks last year but in honesty we managed a superb 2 week break right after the first lockdown.
We took the risk albeit with the terms and conditions they weren’t material. In every case we had booked hotels we were able to cancel without cost. Every flight cancelled and even some that weren’t we were able to move to other dates or had a refund and every car hire cancelled at no cost.
So yes, a bit disappointed but managed to get away 4 times in the year and obey all the rules. It is all about risk management. We used to be able to do it in practically every aspect of life albeit some would like to keep those choices from us simply because it suits their selfish agenda.
No offense mate, but why do you need 4 holidays a year? That seems excessive in non pandemic times, and perhaps irresponsible in pandemic times.,

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Simple answer is we don’t need them. We choose to take them. I don’t believe we are in “pandemic” times in this country and longer and nor do I think most of the European continent is either. It’s being very well managed.
Yes there is risk but we take every precaution (bar staying inside of course) and obeyed all the rules in place at the time we went. Last summer did many think we’d be at this stage? I don’t believe so.
Of course there were some, especially the “experts” but I’m sorry, their predictions in the main have been diabolically flawed.
Learn to live with it was the mantra last year and we’re still failing to do that properly even now.
Now he is just being a caaant and rubbing it in
Karma will get caaants like him
And for 3 of those 4 breaks I’m talking about a 3-4 day visit and staying in a hotel which was always at the highest level of hygiene possible. We were probably safer there than staying in the U.K.

But there is an element of rubbing it in to that numbnuts.
Fair enough, I enjoy a holiday I don’t get the obsession people have given most places people go are boring, sunbed by the pool, I’d honestly rather stay at home. Any resort abroad with British bars, rather stay at home.
I go exotic, interesting or action based or not bother. I find sitting by the pool or on the beach incredibly dull. I need to be doing something. Only way I’ll spend the day on the beach is if I’m surfing.

Our family holidays are always to out of the way, quiet destinations and we hire a place that’s just for us. They’re never in resorts and you couldn’t find a a Brit bar if you tried; which we don’t. Good food, a nice beach (not essential), pool, loads of room, vineyards nearby and nice historic towns to visit are our criteria.
We also do adventure holidays like one of the National Geographic Arctic trips we’ve planned for next year (cancelled from this year) and the jungles of Borneo year after.
I also have a few “work” do’s every year to take my customers which are the exact opposite and anything and everything goes. That’s Ibiza in a couple of weeks. A place I wouldn’t be seen dead in otherwise.
