Great, if true. Seems to be a bit of an anti-sancho theme on here lately, but he's a quality player who can fill various roles.

It's a lot of money and like any deal, there is no guarantee of success. But let's face it, it's not like any of our cheaper signings have worked out particularly well. The signings that have worked out best for us in recent years were Bruno and Maguire, neither of which came for a pittance

I think the transfer dragging kn this long has left people with a sort of apathetic feeling. Chuck in him not playing for England and people have decided he's not actually all that good.

Whenever people refer to Foden, they tend to treat him like he's really young and I don't think they typically connect that Sancho is only a couple of months older. The lad is 21 and already has a stake in claiming to be one of the best creators in Europe. Can never guarantee how any player will do or settle in but you give yourself a better chance when they've performed at his level for 3 years. We're getting a very young, talented and exciting to watch player, it's a shame that it dragged on so long and the excitement seems to have peaked months ago.
