Honestly don't think you could call a result just yet. Too many sessions still to play. I'd say 50/50 currently but tomorrow morning a key session

This shows why tests cricket is, and always will be, number 1.

Considering we've had a drawn test, India winning late on day 5 and England winning on day 4. I can't see this one ending in 2 or 3 days so give this one day nonsense a rest.

Need Overton to hang around with Malan for a while tomorrow and try and get the of Indias under an 100.. As usual our openers have failed again. one good innings followed by 4/5 failures

Not sure what Hameed was thinking. He was pretty good last week in punishing the bad ball but that ball wasn't wide enough and considering Burns had just got out, it made the shot look even worse.

Hopefully Malan can kick on as scoring runs at 3 after both openers fail is a lot more useful (especially with this current side) than scoring a 70 when the openers have already put on 100+.

Morning chaps. Should be an excellent day again. Looks to be the odd ticket spare on the Surrey website for this weekend.

Was at the oval yesterday. Fantastic day of cricket.

Bit gutted Root got out at the end, he was looking top class as usual.

Very interesting day ahead, could really use a lead of 80+.

Those 50+ runs by Shardul Thakur could prove crucial...otherwise India could have been all down around 130 odd runs.

Couple of early wickets will be fun this morning which can happen knowing India also had decent bowling attack.

The batting does run deep though and if Overton can get through the first spell with India coming in hard then he will frustrate India the longer he is out there.

Even though he's not quite managed to light up test cricket yet, Pope will be the one to watch, I know county cricket isn't everything but he averages something like 99 on this ground.
