Moeen bowls to short has a spinner.. I dont get why hes in the team? he bats 8 and hardly bowls?
Finally some decent Test Match cricket. No crash bang wallop stuff or wafting about outside the off stump. I enjoyed that session, decent battle between bowlers and batsmen.
Great captaincy from Root.
Think India might regret not having Ashwin on a Day 4 pitch dependent on the lead obviously.
It wont matter England have their batting line up.

This is the difference between the two teams. When batting conditions are good India are capable of taking advantage. Root aside, it doesn't matter how flat the pitch is our batsmen cannot be relied on to go big.
India will look to bat for another day and half and score 500 plus, and then England will bat last day to try to save the Test. Draw looks the best bet now.
