Saying people wanted Klopp sacked ‘before and after’ the CL win is an interesting way to say it if ‘after’ is a year and a half after the event. Chelsea fans wanted Mourinho sacked a year and a half after he won his last league title - it’s quite a long time in footballing terms

Anyway I suspect the preferred model would be one that isn't monstrously in debt and actually wins something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sad thing is with Clubs breaching FFP weekly how do you compete without taking on some serious debt. Spurs are extreme though. That I admit. Penny pinching at key moments have done huge damage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Teams aren't breaking FFP.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well technically City are, just the governing body were pitifully slow to react
You missed out Leeds
* Full on attacking football at all costs
* High intensity football
* Every player giving 110% or the system breaks or they get booted out
* Not spending buckets of cash in the process
* Making current players much better

Our model is vastly different.
We didn't budget £400m for a new stadium, completely fvck it up by coming in twice over budget and decided to double our wage bill instead.
We have one of the lowest debts to turnover in the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The 400m figure was from the very early plans in the early 2010s. It's not a complete fvck up, it's the reality of building a state of the art stadium.
You might have noticed we've also doubled our wage bill in that time. It's funny how the 'hur dur Spurs need to pay players properly' still goes on when we've got several now on 200k+
