Why would anyone willingly go to Mourinho lmao.

You could ask the same about Arteta 😂

At least he’ll learn a few things from one of the greats - even if he isn’t great anymore.

Arteta was the alternative.

Poor lad was choosing between cancer and worse cancer.

At least Mourinho is an actual manager. Improved Harry Kane who was obviously already world class.

You take that all day over playing for Pep’s caddy

Why would anyone willingly go to Arsenal?

Chelsea will sign him back for 98.7 million

Would be funny if Tammy knocks Spurs out of the Conference League. Though some farmer from Croatia might do that first.

Fair play to him. Much as you hear that it will be a great experience to move abroad, as a young man it can't be easy to move away and learn a new language etc. Going to Arsenal would certainly have been the easier option, but moving to Italy could well be the better one

Who wouldn’t wanna go live in Rome with some of the hottest women in the world and nice weather/food/drink etc? Beats the hell out of playing for Arsenal in shiiiity north London getting rained on while Piers Morgan is tweeting abuse at you for 9 months a year.

Tammy Abraham had told his Chelsea team-mates that he wanted to join Arsenal. But no offer arrived.

Don't think he rejected them.

Good luck to him in Rome, hope he has similar success to Big Rom and then we'll buy him back in a few years too lol

I’m fairly sure he hasn’t had a lobotomy in the past few months.

It’s an interesting move. Wumming Arsenal aside, I wonder if part of the allure is that by moving to a club like Roma it still gives him a decent chance of moving back up to a higher level. Even with the pandemic, it’s proving difficult for players to get out of the clubs lower down without ridiculous fees.

Arsenal may be shiiiiit, but it’d still be harder to take one of their players away for the better sides than Roma - though they’ve not really had anyone that teams would want to test that theory.

Salah and Allison aside of course 😉

Seems Chelsea added a buy back clause, which adds to that. Arsenal would never accept one.

Unless you mean Arsenal 🤔

Rob, I meant Arsenal.

I think it's more being away from family and friends whilst not speaking the language or having any family around. Hell, I found it a big step to even move out from home to start university only up the road, admittedly at a slightly younger age.

In the UK, we don't place a big emphasis on learning other languages and cultures, so it would be pretty daunting to move I reckon, even with the support mechanisms that would undoubtedly be there for you. Not sure of Tammy's personal situation but if he has a girlfriend or wife, that would obviously make it a bit easier to make that move

Oh 😹

I wonder if we should test their resolve for Auba. Maybe Arteta has coached all the talent out of him but I reckon he’d do really well with us as he would have a lot more chances created at United.

Good to see youngish English players heading abroad for a different challenge. That said when you're other option is us under Arteta you'd be stupid not to

Do you think he’ll last until Christmas? Is there a fans mutual ‘want’ as the new manager?

Hard to tell with Auba, most attackers will struggle in that Arsenal team. But he wouldn’t be worth it with his age and wages.

I am hoping we bin him after the City loss. At least that way, we won't wait until our season is over if we can hire someone half decent.

Realistically, they'll fire him when it's too late and when we have nothing to play for.

In answer to your second question, a lot of people have said Conte, but there's more chance of me marrying Maya Jama than that happening.

We will have to look across to other foreign leagues or see if a manager overperforming with a smaller club in the prem will want to come e.g. Potter.

What Randomer said would be my motivation in his position. Mourinho is a car crash personified these days but his CV still stacks up when it comes to getting the most out of his #1 striker. All he needs is one good year (Mourinho's 2nd probably) & PL clubs will be swarming all over him/maybe even Juventus if he has a REALLY good year.

Either way I see what you're saying. Arsenal's the short term cash out, Roma's the long con
