Oh I am, just don't accept thrashings by skum as acceptable results

Midfield was the problem yesterday. We were totally outclassed there.

Hope this O'brien kid is the real deal.

You can get away with playing square pegs in round holes against Burton Albion and Barnsley, but you're asking for trouble doing it against Pogba and Fernandes.

Hope yesterday was a wake up call to the management, including Bielsa.

Need to bounce back against Everton and get some confidence back.

Not far off the truth there Shaun but seems to have got lost once Lowfields jumped on the thread. I am pretty sure most grounded fans are not asking for the earth and don't want a early 2000s style spending spree. There is a middle ground and smart targeted investment in areas where we are exposed can surely help Bielsa deploy his tactics, principles and style of football better not hinder him.

I think we have to take our hats off to Man Utd's goal explosion in the second half. Super-clinical finishing is a good description - we matched them pretty well in the first half but they totally outclassed us in the second. As Outwood and others have noted, we got mauled in midfield and definitely missed Phillips and Llorente badly. Questions must be asked about Koch's readiness or ability in that position and I continue to ask questions about Cooper.

Incredibly disappointing result but at least Ayling scored a cracker and we didn't ship more than five in the end. I thought it was going to be really much more embarrassing after the fourth went in...

Onwards and upwards, that's all we can say.

Most of us feared a defeat when we saw the starting 11 but hoped Bielsa had made the correct call in not starting KP and playing Koch there instead and putting Rodrigo in the middle.

It was a gamble that failed spectacularly and I'm sure in hindsight Bielsa wishes he hadn't done it and at least played Kalvin for 60 or 70 minutes.

I don't accept Philips wasn't as fit as Mcguire, Shaw and Rice who starts for West ham today A 75% match fit Philips would have been far better than the Koch experiment which exposed further our need for not only cover for KP but a better option than playing Rodrigo or Roberts in midfield.

Yesterday may have nudged Radz and Co to get their skates on in acquiring a new playmaker as it was clear Klich and Dallas and even Foreshaw is not going to be enough this season for us to at least repeat last seasons 9th spot.

Various news outlets linking us with a few midfielders so fingers crossed we get these deals done quickly.

Yesterday's embarrassing defeat for me has left as depressing a vibe as I can remember and there's been loads to choose from but I still feel confident that Bielsa will put yesterdays wrongs right and we will get our revenge next year.

A lot more sense being spoken on "not 606 " actually criticising what was an awful performance.

Just checked it out. Hadn't heard of it before, seems OK.

My expectation going into the game was maybe we
could get a draw. But felt we'd lose. They are a genuine
title contender. We had our moments yesterday. But,
their pace and passing was top notch from the off.

They deserved the win. A day later I feel the same.
I'm not knee jerking though. The season's long. If we
can up our game next time out, we'll be fine.

We need to get the couple of signings in that we've
all been talking about all summer. We know we need
players in the middle. And we need a 10.

Sheff Utd's demise has already been brought up.
I don't think we will tank like them. In this league
though, you never know.

As I said elsewhere, Kinnear saying there will not be any more signings, whether that includes O'Brien I don't know. It may be him playing mind games but I am not expecting a late night on deadline day.
Worth a listen

I suspect Leeds will be succumbing to the same second-season fate as their neighbours in Sheffield.

See you in another 16 years boys

Missed the game and glad I did. Massive negative goal difference on the first day. Not sure how we managed to prepare so badly for this game.

I think we’ll bounce back quickly though.

Not one true Leeds fan would say they'd prefer Howe or Gerrard over Bielsa.

Jog on you wum.

Wowza. Gerrard and Howe over MB? That's a massive stretch. Rodgers I'll give you is a top manager. But the other two? Hell no. I'd keep MB over all 3 of them.
