Who will win the league this year?

Rudiger was arguably the second best cb in the league last year. I also thought he was in the top 3 behind vvd and Laporte the year liverpool won it. Phenomenal cb.
Christensen also had a very very good year.

I am not worried about our cbs one bit. In fact it looks like it was more a keeping issue. Since mendy come in we’ve been solid, I think conceding the least goals since tuchel come in.

I like Rudiger. Proper competitor.

Considering the amount of money we’ve spent on our defence,it’s ridiculous how poor we are in the left back area, rather than having 2 players for every position we don’t actually have anyone who’s a really solid left back
Mendy looks just how a Spurs player should look,I’d love to shoehorn him into the Kane deal
£120m for Kane or £150m and they take Mendy

Zinchenko is decent no?

It will be a bonus for Liverpool if they managed to finish 4th in this season...

I think Looters might get 4th with Kane and bald Levy cannot live without champions League football..

He’s ok but he’s only a stand in left back

Having been in the top 4 more than any pl team in two seasons now, i think you're all dismissing Leicester City as challengers at your own risk. Leicester have really improved without losing anynone of significance

I’ve no doubt you’ll be in and around the mix.

I’m trying to work out your comment? Are you referring to days spent in the top 4? Regardless of where the team ends up? The reason people haven’t brought up Leicester is because they’ve not made top 4 the last 6 or so years

There is often a surprise team, so don`t write of Spurs, who clearly have some very talented players, who under a new manager may actually surprise a lot.

There hasn't been a surprise team since Leicester City back in 2016.

Strong case for Spurs now they have a good manager.

If Tottenham couldn't win the league with the best manager in the World last season, then no one can win the league with that team.

You were literally moaning the other day about how football was pointless because it's the same old teams.

If City buy a top centre forward and a left back - there's no competition.

United have a great first 14 players, we'll see how Ole cacks it up just after Christmas.

Liverpool and Chelsea have a chance of challenging but we have to be consistent all the way through the season. Liverpool have little strength in depth imo but have a great first eleven. Chelsea lots of depth but lack a little quality in one or two areas.

Ryan Mason is good, certainly better than his predecessor, but I think you're going over the top by labelling him as the greatest manager in the World.

There's no reason why we can't win the league without him.

But you haven't finished in the top 4. Which is why people don't think you'll finish there again.

So just to conclude, out of the three elite teams currently in the premier league (Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd), who do people think will win the league?

posted on 17/8/21

Chelsea seem to be in he ascendency at the moment, can’t past them or City
