Poch was a big ndombele fan that is true and played him whenever he could but he did also question his fitness something along the lines it’ll take 12 months to get up to speed.

Just don’t think ndombele likes it over here. Can see him going back to France and thriving

The best thing for him would be to go PSG as they could afford him but he isn't good enough for them. Italy is his best option now I think.

Or he sorts his attitude out and works his way back into Nuno's plans. Will save us taking a hit on him.

Chronic, N`dombele definitely needs moving on. If after three seasons he cannot get himself ready for even a Conference League match, then there is seriously not hope for him.

Take a massive hit on him, sell for about £20 million, and move on.

There are definitely things to critique about Tanguy but the thing that's really annoyed me is how this narrative from two seasons ago about how he's never turned up for us and is completely unrealised potential has returned.

He was good for us last season but everyone seems to have forgotten because mason dropped him and now Nuno has too

Sell him ASAP. We won’t get the 65 we paid but I’m pretty certain we will get a decent amount from someone. That’s 3 managers now that have questioned his attitude. Is that a coincidence? Not a chance. Where is this great player certain posters on here keep telling me about because I haven’t seen it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Neither have I Don. I don`t think I have seen one performance where he has dominated and been MOM. He is been average or below average for his entire career at Spurs. Just get rid. Total liability now.

Definitely need to keep. He definitely has issues which we haven't been privy to but clearly hugely talented. We need the club, Nuno and his back room staff to help work with him and bring the best out of him.

Still remember some on here wanting to dump Dembele when he was under performing in his early days. Shocking as someone even mentioned they'd carry him on their back to Stoke when they showed an interest.

Its no surprise several of Ndombele's team mates wax lyrical about his abilities..
You only have to read the below from Bale on who had surprised him the most at Spurs

"I'd probably say Ndombele this season. I hadn't seen too much of him when I was watching Spurs games the season before. I think obviously he had an adaption period coming over to England because it's quite a big jump," he told Sky Sports.

"Just seeing what he does in training and on the pitch, I was very surprised.

"The amount of ability he has is actually frightening, the stuff he does with the ball kind of reminds me of the things you see Ronaldinho do with the ball. It is quite nice to watch."

He added: "I wouldn't say on a par [with Ronaldinho], but it reminds me of some of the stuff he does with the ball. It's mind-blowing, especially in training."

There is a difference between not good enough and underperforming..With Ndombele, clearly the later, a little more patience so a big Keep!!
Salah, Lukaku, Du bruyne anyone????

Let`s be fair Poch was not the greatest judge where buying players was concerned. He purchased some absolutely duff players.

He is in his third season now. How much longer does he need to show he can play 10 minutes of football every month?

Stuff like what sandy says is the kind of thing I'm talking about - he played plenty of football last season and has put in many great performances for us. But he still pedal things like "Ndombele has never had a good game for us and never played more than 10 minutes every few months

He made good progress under Mourinho and that curtailed under Mason. As i said he clearly has some issues but we are not some other well known cash rich clubs who can dump players at will and buy them at Inflated fees later.

Can't see anyone paying big money for him or covering his wages.

Would personally keep him for this season, rather than taking something like £20m for him. He's unbelievably talented, but if he's still not cutting in under Nuno we will probably have to cut our losses next summer.

Ndombele *

Someone get Levy. Ndombele needs to hear one of his GCSE anecdotes again to get him going. It's the only thing that works. Can't think why that one didn't keep him motivated for a lifetime, it was an absolute pearler . The greatest moment of the entire 'All Or Nothing' series for me. Cried with laughter. It was Brent-esque.

Apart Sheff Utd when he did play well. Not great but played well can you name me say five other games when he put in a 'Great performance' as you put it.

I have never seen him boss a game or watched a game and afterwards thought 'He is a worldie' or ''worth every penny'.

Top of my head I’d say the Southampton and united away games he put in excellent performances.

Although tbh I’ve tried to forget the Mourinho era

Kane and Son put in great performances in those games. Southampton first half Ndombele was brilliant in the way he set up first goal with his drive in midfield.

Against Utd everyone apart from Sanchez for their only goal was on point.

🚨 | Fabio Paratici wants another centre-back for #Tottenham, they are also looking for a midfielder and a back-up striker.

- @FabrizioRomano

If true, then bring in Tomisayu who can cover RB and CB. Then a midfielder of Paratici's choice and Vlahović to give us another option up top. If Kane leaves bring in Martinez too.

I’m one of his staunchest defenders, alongside Chris which stands to reason because Chris is one of my sock accounts.

Anyway, I would hope Nuno is the sort of manager who will get through to Ndombele, like Pochettino would have. You get the sense he needs a mix of tough love and an arm around the shoulder. I’m not sure Mourinho had much of the latter and I doubt Mason had either, but Nuno is a much better man manager, more akin to Pochettino.

But even I agree this season has to be his last chance. If it doesn’t happen this year then even I don’t think it ever will.

He hasn't got off to the best of starts with Nuno though. It doesn't look good for TN right now especially being left out of the ropey league squad.

posted on 16/8/21

Don’t disagree, but this may be the tough love part. Maybe Nuno is speaking with him behind the scenes telling him what he has to do to get in the side. Maybe it’s getting through to him. Maybe not. Who knows. I just want to see Ndombele given every chance to succeed because I honestly think if he can hit his potential he’ll be the best player at Spurs.

I'll do strictly premier league games

Debut against Villa

2-2 Norwich away in 2019

4-0 against burnley last season

2-0 against West brom last season

2-2 against Newcastle last season

All 8/9 out of 10 performances. Happy to use stats to back that up. And if you want to argue that they're all shiite teams id say it was impossible for a creative midfielder in a Mourinho side to have a good game against a good side. Completely starved off the ball

If he isn't going to start it's a waste for him and us and need to sell him unfortunately even though I'm a huge fan.
our most talented player who has been with us during such a facked up period where he gets more scrutiny because of price tag he came into.
Don't know what goes on behind the scenes, maybe he is a bad egg, then we do just need to sell and not have to hear excuses every week for him not being involved.
