Gibson is the villain, Colin is more of a pantomime dame.
As Spart says, this is all down to Lady Luck, so anything can happen

Actually you're right - I don't understand Gibson's obsession which makes him a d!ck but Warnock, well he actually does have a soft spot for Derby
This should be a toughie and a good test of our new-look, new-approach team. I suspect space will be limited so I hope Derby don't resort to continuous slow building from the back as that will just play into Boro's hands. Get at 'em with some pace, I say.

I have to work tomorrow so am relying on Things 1 and 2 to do their bit and give the lino such advice as is necessary in my absence. Any Warnock team is likely to provide a test. As said above he seems to have a soft spot for us, not sure why but it's a job he wishes he had had at some point. A tight game in the offing. While the absence of Lawrence will delight some of us I think that fatigue might be a factor with Morrison, Sibley and Jozwiak having put in a big shift on Wednesday. As soon as we get a couple of injuries our squad doesn't half look thin.

All Brizzle...... Swansea go in front!
Fatigue you must be joking, it’s still August and they shouldn’t be tired yet. Kevin Hector only missed one game in three years and that includes both cups.
Suspect it's mental rather than physical. They have individual diets, nutritionists, shouldn't drink and presumably don't smoke so fatigue cannot be a factor yet. They just think it is.
This will of course be a major factor later in the season if we don't recruit.........
Anyway, raining here and deer on the croft.
Raining here and beer on the floor
Some of the players visibly tired towards the end of the martch on Wednesday. VC, the game is different to what it was like in the 60s and 70s. The tempo is so much faster. There is no comparison. It is no longer possible to win a title with 13 players as we did. Back in the day players could play while half fit and carrying knocks. The reason there are so many injuries in the modern game is because they push their bodies to the limits in a way they never used to.
I make it 7 Derby legends involved in tonight's Brizzle vs Swansea game. How many of them would strengthen our current squad?

Mot many from what I've seen.
Up to 11th without breaking sweat.
Good goal by the Swansea striker, other than that very mediocre.
Night all. Bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow.
Likewise. Just hoping we can carry on the good form of Wednesday. Unchanged team unless Rooney wants Forsyth’s height over Buchanan to defend set pieces. But the best way to defend set pieces is not to concede them in the first place.
Mornin', peeing down with rain in South Yorkshire, hope the weather in Derby is better. Three points would cheer us all up as would Gibson falling over in the wet.
