I’m not excusing Trump for anything. It’s laughable because you are creating Biden with the few positives Trump managed as president and now apportioning the blame of Biden’s negatives to Trump himself.
Some people are so blinded by their agendas that they’d rather make things up to suit their narrative than tell things how they are. Biden will not serve a 2nd term and it has nothing to do with his age. In fact he is looking so worryingly bad that it wouldn’t surprise me if Americans feel so duped and conned that they vote Trump back in in 3 years.

Good, he incited a fascist insurrection and should be spending the rest of his miserable life behind bars for sedition and treason, along with his whole rancid family.
Yep. But that doesn’t make Biden a good president

Well we’ll see won’t we.
We will see but again the fact that Biden is not Trump has absolutely nothing to do with how capable he is of doing the job or not. People need to stop using it as a defence or like I said he’ll be back in office for another 4 years. And that will be on Biden and the dems if it happens.

Well if that happens, America will get what it f*cking deserves.
What choice did people have, Biden or Trump? 7 million more Americans went for Biden. It is what it is.
Yea and I wanted Biden to win, too, as he was the lesser of 2 evils. I didn’t think he’d be great but I also didn’t think he’d be THIS bad.
It is worrying because America are arguably the most powerful country in the world, certainly in the west, and they don’t have the brightest voters out there. And if Biden continues failing, the reluctant Republicans who voted Biden will feel they made a mistake that they won’t make again in 3 years time.
There should be more scrutiny on Biden than on any of his predecessors because all his failings will be held against him in the next election when he’s likely up against Trump again.
People won’t admit it, but Trump was a shoe in for a 2nd term before his woeful handling of the pandemic and the BLM stuff came to light. A lot of that will be forgotten when he runs for a 2nd term

Biden won't run for re-election. He's giving the keys to Kamala who's vacationing somewhere I'm guessing.
It's either Desantis or Trump on the Republican side if I had to guess.

You say Rebublican as if they’re not a fascist cult, they have more in common with the f*cking Taliban than they do Americans.
I hope the Republicans actually remember that showing some respect and pride for the job is still a thing but they won't, they will go for the biggest but job that isn't Trump if he doesn't run and that will be DeSantis who is nothing short of a disgrace himself.
But none of it matters in the end, if only the religious cants cared for anything more important than abortion the Republicans would never win an election again.
I see former president Trump has an important engagement lined up for 911. 20th anniversary.

Agree with a lot of this take.
However, I think we will see that big shift in the mid term election next year. I expect the Republicans to retake the house and gain seats in the Senate. Not sure the numbers but I have an idea what the trend will look like.
Hell, I'll ballpark it now so I have written down somewhere. Current makeup:
House: 220 (D), 212 (R), 3 (Vacant)
Senate: 50 (D), 50 (R)
I think in the House, Republicans will have around 250, probably lower. It's a ballpark figure based on previous midterms and the last election.
Senate, I'm not sure. 5 (R) senators are retiring. I'm not convinced those seats will get flipped. I do think Raphael Warnock's (GA) spot are in danger. Mark Kelly (AZ) and Marco Rubio (FL) were in danger but I'm not sure anymore. Think he's safe for now. I'll say 51-49 (R).
