Stretford end when Modric and Bent put us 0-2 up at HT just to lose 5-2.
I tend to be a bit reserved - doubt it would get spicy if I started celebrating, and when the 4th and 5th went in I was glad he kept myself to my self.
Tbf living in Manchester I’ve done OT quite a few times, both in the home end and away end watching Spurs, as well as United v others a few times - it’s a very placid experience.
I went to watch Reading ladies vs Arsenal ladies yesterday and we were all sat together, like all Ladies games I think.
Atmosphere was good and even got to speak yo Ty from AFTV. Nice bloke!

Funnily enough I was at that game too. I was behind one of the goals - the end where none of the goals were scored, naturally
Sat with the pool fans in 2013 at Anfield when we lost 3-2. Never again.
Also sat with Villa fans when we beat them 4nil, Bale scored a hat trick. Lovely night that was.
The best was when we pumped Leicester 6-1. By the time the 4th went in all the m0ng1es had left I celebrated the 5th and 6th goals without a care in the world lol.

Same end as me then!
As soon as Carroll went down under that challenge from Gomes I just knew….
Yep. Regularly took my son ( when in his early teens ) to watch Spurs at West Ham as Upton Park was only a few stops away on the tube. Didn't have a season ticket then, and quite often tickets were sold out at WHL.
But, back in the day, you could usually turn up and get in on match days at the less supported teams.
Although just a kid, my son was of course, under strict instructions not to jump up and down if Spurs scored, as we were amongst the locals.
The second year we went, a Spurs fan did make that mistake, and the stewards had to escort him out, as the locals were ready to lynch him, having already thrown a few punches in his direction.
My old boss was on the board of directors at Crystal Palace so he used to get us tickets but only with the palace fans. Similarly I was close to the Spurs fans to. They were screaming at us and I kind of wanted to remind them that I was one of them but I didn't really want to rattle the cage I was in. Been to a few of those games but the one that stands out was losing 2-1 about 5 years ago in the league. Kane put us ahead but Jason Puncheon scored a late winner. It's horrendous sitting quietly in a stand when everyone else is going nuts and not being able to celebrate properly when you score is weird. I guess I could have done but it's just not worth getting a load of shiiiiit for 90 mins.
Did Milan when we beat them 1-0 with Crouchy. Watched it with my Italian cousin. I probably stuck out enough as I was speaking in English with him during the game, but I kept a low profile.
Just gave him a nudge when we scored, and laughed when they were celebrating a late equaliser as I had seen the offside flag before them.
Done it a few times and i hate it tbh. Horrible feeling having to keep quiet when your team scores. Would honestly rather just watch on TV.
would never catch me sitting in a non spurs section for a game against spurs. not fun.

Yeah, I feel the same. I'd never turn down a free ticket (as mine usually were) but in all honesty, sitting with opposition fans is a not a fun experience.
Fulham several times. Including as a child wearing Spurs shirt and scarf.
The Valley when we went top of the league under Hoddle.
Loftus Road.
Think that's it. As others have said, it's just not fun at all and agreed - would rather just watch it on the tele.
Fulham Craven cottage loads of times. They call it the neutral end, but it ends up being taken over by Spurs fans anyway love Craven cottage
Done it at West Ham - we drew.
Done it at Wembley v Portsmouth - we lost.
Done it at Palace - we lost.
Decided now it's not worth it now. Can't properly enjoy the game.
West Ham was the worst - went with a girl I was seeing and when Spurs equalised she said loudly, you must be happy... thought I was gonna get a kicking
done the same thing several times for Fulham and Palace
Notably the Dele goal Palace game and the Holtby and Chiriches screamers vs Fulham

I was there with the Holtby goal. We were really rubbish that game too weren’t we. I remember the Lewis Holtby chants after though
I can't believe u am going to admit this on here but a few seasons ago a mate of mine who is an arsenal fan asked me to go the Arsenal West ham game.
I am not great and keeping my mouth shut and I'm one those who is a bit of a pr1ckkkk when in had a few beers.
Always said I'd never do it but he doesn't really have any mates who support the same team so I said I'd do it. Started drinking at 8am and when I got to the game I was facked.
Obviously hate both team so didn't matter too much but arsenal scored wihh about 10mins to go and I started kicking off with the idiots around me haha.
I had a Spurs tattoo on my forearm and " to dare is is to do" on my neck, albeit this isn't obvious unless u know as its written in a way to be a tad subtle.
Won't ever do that again though, not because I felt threatened but just because it was a horrible experience.
It does wind me up when you watch a game on TV and sections of the crowd are facing each other and trading insults instead of watching the actual match.
I won't sit in with opposition fans, you can't be quiet at a game and enjoy it, being loud, signing and cheering is the best part about being at the game.
Done it at Fulham too. MOTD caught me and my mate standing up (just to the side of the goal) when we scored

I remember going to the Emirates with my ex-girlfriend as she was an Arsenal fan to watch some pointless league cup game. It was back when Wilshere and Ramsay were around 16-17 and it was interesting to watch them both play. It was around the same time Ramos had us playing some turgid stuff and I couldn't believe how good these kids at Arsenal were at that age but it just felt dirty standing with the other Arsenal fans. I had a face like a slapped arrrrrrse all game.
Did city at the emptyhad when pool played them in the champions league 2018, got hospitality
They tried creating (bless them) an atmosphere with plastic paper but were so quiet, and was like a library otherwise. Emptied out quick enough as soon as salah scored
Mind plenty of pool fans around just nobody celebrated
Also sat with the Madrid fans in Kiev
Oh how horrible
Oh also Selhurst Park when we beat Wimbledon in the league cup semi in 99. Over 3/4 of the ground that day was Spurs complete with a pitch invasion too.
