Meslier has easily been our player of the season so far. He's been such a quick learner

Great team effort but have 2 huge stars in this team

Great first half. we have not played well in second halves so far and we'll need a good one today to see this is out.

Superb performance by our boys! Cresswell and Cooper are immense, and Meslier has just been superb. Raphinha is getting assaulted - how Antonio didn't get a red for that I don't know - but he is brilliant. Rodrigo and James are both looking sharp.

Great first half performance and beautiful goal! We deserve to be ahead.

I'm listening on LUTV - does LUTV only do audio coverage now? Can't remember the last time they offered video of a match.

They also used to do half time analysis with Dorigo, Emma etc. That doesn't seem to happen any more!

That’s as good a half of football we’ve played since promotion. West Ham are dangerous but we are lethal. Rod, Klick and Raph should be charged with indecent assault of the Hammers defense.

We have been the better side by far but they are dangerous and have threatened on a few occasions.
I wish the HT whistle had been the FT to be honest!

Raphina gets booked for celebrating his goal. Antonio then assaults Raph... no further action. Same old same old from the officials and VAR.

Brilliant performance so far. Press has been exceptional.

We struggled with build up initially but that’s massively improved as the half went on.

Don’t need to force because we will create space by retaining possession and good movement.

Dallas has been our weakness again unfortunately.

Shackleton has been brilliant. So have Cresswell and Cooper.

Most impressive thing about the press is that we don’t have Bamford and Rodrigo has really stepped up. If Rodrigo can continue this it may be difficult for Bamford to get back into the side

If Shackleton keeps up this form I'd be disappointed if Ayling walks back into the team when he's fit.

Agreed, I seem to remember in the past there was some sort of analysis of the first half at HT but now nothing

Totally agree. I'd like Shack to get a run in team at right back and let Ayling sit it out for a while.

This is very true.

We are still making sloppy mistakes and West Ham always capable of scoring a goal out of no where.

We need a second.

But to be the better side against a very good West Ham tells us all that we will be fine this season.

Jamie shack is the now the natural successor to ayling.

Yes he started as a central midfielder but there has to come a point where you say he is now a rightback who can also play in midfield...
