Seems good but let’s wait till end of season to pass of judgements. Let’s see how he deals with errors. But credit where it’s due he has been solid so far

But the 30 million for Ramsdale could have been used elsewhere and you could have strengthened more rather than having two decent/valuable keepers in a position you only need one.

We got the players we wanted in the positions we wanted.

And if we wanted to spend £30m more in the summer we would have. Signing Ramsdale had no impact on the strengthening the rest of the squad.

How many players do you think a club should sign in one summer. Also we have players such as Laca, Elneny, Xhaka who were available at the right price and if they had gone we would have replaced them.
As it stands we have a squad that is too big for our requirements.

And it isn't just about summer signings. We have ESR, Saka, Martinelli, AMN and other youngsters.

Leno is far too timid, is like Dracula when it comes to crosses and gives off a weak vibe - he should be moved on.
You could argue that Ramsdale should have saved Son’s goal but other than that he has been extremely good so far. 👍

No one buys a shedload of players at any 1 time, it never works..and our squad is ok, probably a bit bloated tbh..

No, but that's also because we didn't sell as many players as we wanted to. I'm sure Arteta isn't 100% happy with the ins/outs of the Summer. But given the circumstances, he has to be satisfied considering what we did spend.

And let's face it, no manager is ever 100% satisfied with their transfer business.

You can't just sign who you want, it's not a FM game where one of your players is 3 star and you can just go and find a 3.5 star player and that'll do.

Arsenal probably strengthened as realistically as they could have done. I'm sure they'd have loved more players, but there are squad requirements to meet, players to keep happy, wage structures to stick to etc. I'm sure every club would like to stock their squad with the best players, unfortunately it doesn't happen like that.

You're right though, everything is rosy with Arsneal. No other areas of the team that could and should have been strengthened over the summer.

Right back - did that.
Centre back - did that.
Left back - did that
Centre midfield - did that
Attacking midfield - did that.

So it must be striker where we already have Aubameyang, Lacazette, Martinelli and Balogun.
