Lingard id a good impact player, and Ole knows the value in that. I think Sancho will start. Jesse should accept his role and wear it with pride - it's nothing to be ashamed of.
Don’t get people calling for Lingard to start over him either.
......................
These are the same fools that would have been abusing him on the match threads for the last five years. Yet he gets a couple of good goals and should be starting.
I really enjoyed Sancho’s performance last night, and I agree with your article. I think once he gets a goal he’ll start banging then in.

Exactly. Lingard looks back to his best but at his best he was and is a moments player. He rarely performs for 90 mins so yes either accept he’s an impact sub or move on at the end of the season.
I like how well ronnie and jesse seem to be getting on
I hope your right and I did enjoy aspects of his performance last night and his attitude looks good. Just fine thing that has surprised me so far with his is he doesn’t look as quick and I thought he was, he has quick feet but I thought he was lightening sharp across the ground too and that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Looks a bit chunky atm, or has he always been like that, the left side of the pitch must be getting treats all game, been trying too hard atm, last night he slowed down a bit and looked better though

The problem with it is Ole won't make that subs post 75 mins. Yesterday it worked, but he went in 88 mins mark. Luckily we had 5 mins added time but really it should come much earlier
Sancho looks like he's gradually settling in, maybe it's just a case of him believing he should be here, really hoping he starts against Everton.
Agree with the stuff about Lingard being an impact sub, he picks up the pace of the game straight away, just like his boss used to. Great option to have.
Sancho is twice the player Lingard is.

Yes. I thought Lingard was done at United and would have happily seen him out the door in the summer.
He’s proving me wrong so far and long may it continue.
Ole must persevere with Sancho. He needs to play him until he gets that goal or assist. The monkey is on his back - you can tell he’s feeling the pressure. He’s a United player now though, not playing in some tinpot Teutonic league. Pressure is part and parcel so he needs to keep going until he gets his goal/assist the I think the floodgates will opened
You’re right, dropping him would be terrible man management at this point.

Agree with OP and this
Yeah definitely starting to show signs of his quality especially last night. Just needs to be a bit braver and believe in himself to take players on. That way he'll create goal scoring opportunities for himself and others. Just like he used to do in Germany.
Think we’ll see the best of Sancho when he’s on the right and Rashford’s back on the left.
Does Sancho become good on Football Manager? I’ve heard they’re pretty good with their scouting… better than our scouts even.

I believe Greenwood is a much more complete player than Sancho and he should keep his place on the right. If it comes down to him or Sancho and can't keep both players happy, it should always be Greenwood.

He's quite good, not standout as top tier level but good. If you trust FM data, then there's another guy in Dortmund called Moukoko who will get near to Messi level in the next few years

Already getting games at Dortmund at 16 years old. Must have something about him.
Lingard has made an impact off the bench in every single game he's come on. Like him or loathe him but he can be a real handful in and around the box.
Agree on Sancho too. He's not been great but there are signs he's getting there. I'd start him Vs Everton and maybe drop either Pogba or Greenwood. It will probably be Greenwood who makes way I would have thought.

Sancho and Lingard have just made the England squad ahead of Greenwood.
