Well, this is fast becoming another poor day for England. As much as we contained for abit, the scoreboard still only shows 1 wicket for 122 runs.

I would have played Bess (spin) and Wood (pace) over Woakes and Robinson. The bowling is all a bit samey, 5 seamers all bowling around 80 - 85mph.

I agree with BOTR that the whole setup seems as though we make our game plan decisions in advance and then we don't seem to have the ability or mentality to react as events develop.

Case in point, we've come into the day/nighter with the most transparent game plan in the world: four identikit medium fast seam/swingers, rely 100% on movement under the lights. When that doesn't work, we have absolutely no plan B.
