If you truly believe that the Glazers dont realise success on the pitch equals more money, then you are very naive, or on the wind up. Either way, im out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Observing the Glazer's mess since SAFs retirement. Lack of success is a big clue of how little they know about the sport and how poorly the club is geared up for not only success but sustained success!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Im not defending the Glazers here, but they employ people to run the club, and have allowed those people to spend massive amounts in the pursuit of success.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They sanction those transfers, I'm sure transfers over a certain value needs more than one signatory.

The board are briefed on significant ins and outs.

Don't think the people they employ operate in isolation! They don't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Who says they have to sanction / sign off those transfers?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If Ole and Murtough are aligned in terms of a target why would the Glazers block the transfer if funds are available?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Would they even be involved?

According to Gary Lineker, his good chum Ed Woodwood sealed the Ronaldo deal on the blower to Ronnys agent, whilst they were both (Linekar and Ed) sitting in Linekars back garden knecking beers.

Judge, Murtough or Ole were nowhere to be seen.
