Racism comes in many forms, just look at the coont playing at Robin Hood in Norway last night. Would you class Muslim fundamentalists as racist or not?

They do it for attention full stop. They choose to blame others when they know those others aren't responsible for their perceived injustices. It's like children who know they did something wrong and deny it by pointing to another kid despite being covered in the evidence.
Any excuse to avoid responsibility.
Old people do enjoy being racist for kicks.
My dad is 84 and constantly comes out with racist stuff as he knows it antagonises the rest of the family.
Been trying to explain why it's wrong to say what he says for the past 20+ years and he still chooses to say it.
Whenever it's a black player who messes up in a game, he gets it in the neck even if he's been the best player all game.. just because he's an easy target in my dad's eyes.
Educating him has done next to f all and it's why he is no longer invited round to watch the football at mine as he's an embarrassment when I have pals round. He's also an arrogant waank he is set in his ways and thinks he's right even when he knows he is wrong and has always deflected blame for his circumstances.
The amount of times I've had to hear about him losing out on jobs back in th day because someone else was chummier when in fact he knows it's because he has no reading skills and has never bothered to learn in his adult years.
It's easier to deflect blame where it doesn't lie than to admit their own deficiencies.

Terrorists are fundamentalists, as are a lot of racists. They choose to believe that someone else is to blame for their own life's predicament instead of taking responsibility for theirselves.

Sweeping statement. I don't believe all old people are racist. I don't think most of those that are do it for kicks or necessarily enjoy it though some might.
Some are just racist. Lots of reasons but really don't think enjoyment features in the top list?
I never said all people. I was responding to Renegades comment that old people don't like to be racist just for kicks.
This e that are racist do enjoying getting off on it. Not just my old man.. hear it all the time in locals and building sites. The older crowd coming out with some rasist piish just to get a reaction most of the time as they know what they are saying is not "politically correct" and know that it is wrong, but choose to say it regardless.
And that was one factor.. the rest of my comment along with countless previous comments addressed the main issue which is that they are just looking for someone else to blame for their own life's predicament.
The real malicious basturds who are racist are those in positions of wealth and power who probably do believe in their own superiority over others and use racism to stoke up divisions amongst the majority beneath them.
