Well you’re not given a cup are you? No part of that trophy is a cup.

On your earlier point btw, it’s not all out pedant to suggest a shield isn’t a cup anymore than it would be to say a knife isn’t a fork. It’s not pedantic, it’s just wrong.

What is pedantic is claiming every competition is technically a cup competition because that’s what you’re given (although that’s demonstrably false anyway) rather than just considering the obvious difference in format between a league and a cup competition being the differentiator that was clearly being talked about.

This article is about European coefficients, nothing to do with domestic football so there is no balance needed. You just want to add it because City have won domestic cups, but can’t win the CL thus far. That’s as insecure as it gets for a supporter.

Well if you're referring to last night a little home work would have taught you that the empty seats were all in the Malmo end where they filled probably 50% of their allocation.

To take that even further even more Chelsea fans than usual got to see last nights match because two whole sections went to Chelsea supporters that would normally have been taken by the away club!

A simple bit of easy research helps making bitters like Devonshire looking a.... little foolish really!

Went West view again last night and they served alcohol at CL games, didn’t booze used to be banned…

Also, they served us well into the second half in the West Stand when they used to shut the bars and the tellies on minute 46

Perhaps you might have already noticed, Sheriff, that a team does not get knocked out of the Premier League Cup if they lose Game Five.

Both blokes either side of me in the MHU went for a HT pint last night but I can't be bothered with that, you need to leave your seat 10/15 minutes before the HT whistle, have to neck it quick as and invariably miss the start of the 2nd half.

Did have one in Jimmys bar before though, so guess they must have relaxed that rule!

Terminator decided to make a toatlly irrelevent point so I went along with it because Liverpool are absymal when it come to domestic competitions.

You should be glad City are doing well in the table, that's why we're still allowed to enter 4 teams.

It wasn’t irrelevant at all. I was pointing out how deceptive stats can be. City are rated the second best team in Europe without winning the trophy the ratings are based on.
