Interesting article:-

If you scroll down to the comments by fans you will see very few people agree with the sentiments in this article. The same journalist wrote an article supporting Saiss recently that was similarly poorly received. Forever hearing comments that the Express and Star is a far less respected local paper than it used to be.

Read the comments. Particularly like the observation that he spends a couple of minutes placing the ball for a corner kick. Making sure the ball is right of the very edge of the quadrant, then rolls the ball 5 yards for a short corner

Just highlights how different people view the performances of players they see on the pitch. Both have their contracts up at the end of this season, so we'll see if they're offered any extensions.

Moutinho will go, i am pretty sure. Wants to manage so will likely go to a club where he can begin the process.

To be honest, I'd happily extend Saiss and Moutinho for another year or two. Moutinho is good for his experience and could probably be eased into a coaching role. Saiss offers good cover in more than one position and is a good player to bring on when seeing out a game. I just don't think either should be starting every week anymore and we really should have improved on both over the summer.

The end of the season is a good chance for both of them to move on to new things. Both could go to a club where they are guaranteed starters and possibly get paid more than we'd be willing to offer, if we were looking for improvements. So there is a good chance both may leave.

Where is Jonny ?
What is his situation and are we likely to see him back in the near future ?

posted on 29/10/21

I think we are unlikely to see Jonny this season.

Having suffered the same major injury twice, we'll be lucky to see him at his best again to be honest.

Yeah, love Jonny, but wouldn't be too worried if we moved him on at this stage if he came back fit. 28 by the time he plays again and two serious injuries, it is unlikely he comes back the same player.

Look forward to going to Molineux on Monday which is our first home game since Oct 2nd and there’s not another one until Nov 20th. That’s one home game in 8 weeks. Better be a good one

Actually one in 7 weeks. I used to be good at maths

Improving Arsenal 2 up at Leicester at half time.

And how sad to see Albion 2 down at Fulham at the break. Both goals by Mitrovic who is on fire recently

Wolves meet Everton on Monday and evidently the two clubs are on competition to sign Van de Beek on loan from Man Utd in January

In the big promotion game in the championship Fulham beat Albion 3-0 with Mitrovic getting a hat trick and both teams having a player sent off in the second half

Think he has 18 goals for the season already

The AFCON is going to be a problem for us with Boly and Saiss leaving us for a month or so at a time when Mosquera remains injured. That could mean we move to a back 4 with Coady and Kilman in the centre, or get Marcal or Hoever to play as a centre back.

Big IF I know but, if we win on Monday and Spurs and Man Utd draw, then we go 6th. Do me.

Unless Brighton steal a winner at Anfield, which is not out of the question.

I wouldn't worry about the table Wulfrun, would be very surprised if we finish top half.
