You need a new stadium. Which looks unlikely to happen any time soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? It’s a shame due to space restrictions we couldn’t get to 50,000 or so. Could we sell out a 70,000, yes. But is it that worth it? I doubt it with sponsorships etc the main money earner nowadays
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because the more people you have to watch your team, the better. I'm not fussed about income of whatever else comes with it, to have a ground with a 42,000 capacity, with the size Chelsea now are, is not enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not like we haven't tried to expand...we couldn't extend SB any further & Battersea would have been phenomenal...but it wasn't to be

----------------------------------------------------------------------you said chelsea “need”. Truth is that couldn’t be further from the truth.

sigh.

Indeed. Strange king to make
I expect that statistically Chelsea have been the most successful London club since the PL started. Arsenal had a few good years but that was more than 15 years ago. Spurs are the ones that continually seem to disappoint. A couple of League Cups in nearly 30 years is a poor record for what should be a top side.

A touch of fortune for the womens team yesterday as City had 10 players out injured

Maybe city needs a better medical staff then.
