He's been there a day FFS. Nothing to be scared about yet
Sell the lot of them.
Apart from sonny and perhaps Hugo, every single other player has let spurs down too many times.
Accept offers for all of them and get conte whomever he wants
Sick of seeing players in a spurs shirt play like they can’t remember how to pass a ball or defend a set piece.

Have to be realistic Smeg!
Conte just needs to fitness and concentration levels - it would improve so many of these players.
Squad I would keep
Hugo
Gollini
Romero
Royal
Reggie
Skipp
Hojbjerg
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Tanganga
Rodon
Lucas
Son
Kane
Gil
The rest can go.
Thought Conte came across really well in the interview, measured, clear sighted about the challenges ahead, but also fully sure of himself.

I think he can see that fitness and organisation of just this group of players will reap rewards. BT kept mentioning the 3 fitness coaches he has brought with him - he has obviously seen our running stats

We all know what the problems are and they’ve been evident well before Nuno ever came in. By most accounts Conte has done his homework on us, but it’s good he got to see the defensive problems in the first match up close and in real time, as sorting the back line out is his most pressing and immediate challenge.
Curious to know what people thought of Hojberg. I actually thought he had a decent game but some of the press reviews and Twitter reactions have been quite negative.

Both NDombele and GLC can be replaced with better.
Can’t see either actually getting any better.

Really, Gio just won the Copa, it’s just Spurs that don’t get the best from him.
Ndombele is still young, I think if anyone can get through to him it will be Conte

Think he might need to double the number of fitness coaches lol given our current levels.

Thought Ndombele was really good when he came on. There is definitely player there, with him the real issue is consistency. If Conte can’t get him going on a more consistent level then yeah maybe he does need a change,

I thought there was a bit more thrust about his game especially in the first half, similar to his performances for Denmark at the Euros. Or maybe I was reading his performance wrong because a lot of people seem to disagree.

Yeah if not more, it was shocking to see how knackered we were in the second half. Yes we had a player less, but we couldn’t get out of our own 18 yard box and we surrendered 2/3rds of the pitch.
Kane actually got us out of a hole last night as I don’t think we would have held on vs 11. His hold up play and ability to draw fouls swung the game back our way
We've got players who were looking bang average during Poch's time, who've been allowed to stay and look bang average 4 managers later. Davies, Dier, Winks...the squad needs a good clear out now.
Conte can only do so much.

The problem with a lot of the players you have identified is that they are on substantial salaries and have a few years still to run on their contract. Harry Winks to take one example of on around £91,000 p/w - who else is going to pay him that now. Just another example of how badly the club has been run in recent years from a footballing perspective.
You can only read so much into it after one game. My take:
- great to see us actually pass forward in the first half, with some evident patterns of play / passing / football
- looks like we’ll engage the ball higher up the field - midfield two were quite high as well
- passing out from the back. I can’t remember doing it so frequently under Jose and NES, but last night felt like it was the MO for goal kicks
- the defence, just awful. I don’t know what it is. Doesn’t matter the formation, the manager or the players, our defenders just look lost. This will be Conte’s biggest challenge IMO
- Lloris - we’re lucky to have him
- Kane - sat higher for the most part. Hold up play in the second half was invaluable. It’s only one game but his performance gives me hope he’ll turn a corner quickly
- Royal - again only one game, but that wing back role looks like it’ll suit him better than RB in a 4-4-2
- as people have said - fitness, fitness, fitness.
FFS HE SAID BE PATIENT!!!!!

These lengthy contracts look good business by Levy when the players are doing well but when they aren't it looks rubbish. It would probably be better for everyone if they were frozen out like Rose was and then we bring in adequate replacements.
