What an inspired & insightful choice to pick Liam Thompson, ahead of Watson, Hutchinson etc.
Harrison Foulkes, anyone ?
I think this Rooney chap has a good idea what he is doing. He has fashioned scraps into a fairly tasty meal. What might he do with some slightly better quality ingredients? I thought Thompson was hugely impressive but the character of the team is what stands out and I think that reflects the manager.
Just read the comments below the Beeb report. With one sad exception, all really supportive. Forest and Toon fans amongst others basically saying suck it up EFL..........COYR
We maybe bottom of the table in points but not in form. Perhaps teams are under estimating our capabilities to their cost.

I reckon this team could walk League 1 …
That was a great result today, pity I had to miss the last 15 minutes or so to get my flu jab🙂
Can't tell on the highlights, can someone inform me who supplied the corner for Jason's goal, please ?

Anybody got the highlights please or do we need to wait ‘til tomorrow?
Does Liam T remind you of any of our diminutive players from year gone by, Vidal ?
I love his little trademark pirouette with the ball at his feet

Not sure who you mean Ang. Willie Carlin?
Not thinking of anyone specifically, Carlin, Gemmill, Bannan etc ?
Just wondered how he looked at Championship level
He looked completely at home. Didn't panic on the ball, used it quickly and efficiently, wasn't out-muscled. Very promising performance.
Well we have reached 0 points, the next target has to be 18 points then see what is left of the season.

On current form, Barnsley Peterborough and Hull will all finish on under 45 points.
Our target is to win 15 games, plus a few draws. After today, with a bit of luck, I believe we can do that. Then the Rev can do one!

I've been trying to think back to each of the individual debuts made by our Academy lads (and U18s) - eg, Bird, Knight, Williams, McDonald, Ebosele, Stretton, Buchanan, Sibley (who have I forgotten?) Did any of them impress more than Thompson? I doubt it, unless Sibley made his debut at Millwall.
Thompson did not look out of place at all; full of composure, running, skill, control, aggression and confidence. Well done lad! And well done WR for having the confidence and insight to select these kids.

Firstly thanks for the commiserations regarding my Mum guys - much appreciated.
Todays game was just so entertaining, and for me had everything. As I said this morning I feel that any game in the Championship is winable providing it's approached in the right way. We showed so much more belief today - especially in the 2nd half. One things for sure, if we'd allowed Muff to play their game they'd have won handsomely.
Anyway a cracking game. That blunder by Roos really unsettled us and I was glad to get to half time....but a win like that makes you (maybe) believe that the impossible is possible.....
1.So, aside for his blunder Roos was otherwise pretty faultless.
2. We seemed to get caught out down the flanks 1st half, which was remedied 2nd half.
3. Curtis was a Colossus in defence.
4. Very impressed with Thompson...and yes he was able to play - as we have accepted the EFL's 'punishment' which has allowed us to play some of the other players (I dont know how many)
5. Knight, as the saying goes covered every blade of grass.
6. Loz after a quiet 1st half had a stormer in the 2nd and I rightly give him MOM.
7. Commendations to the whole team though for getting back into the game and giving us hope....
