Probably their best performasnce as a pair. Both full backs also outstanding. Forsyth clearly took on board my words of advice on Sunday.

The very same!
So proud of them all. We have had many better teams, but it's hard to think of a Derby side with a greater spirit than this one.
QPR are fourth so who knows perhaps we will keep the streak going.

Do they call you viewfrom?
Had to miss the first 30 mins for a doc's appointment but from what I did see - brilliant! Superb defending and GOALKEEPING. Roos detractors (if any have been on here) should acknowledge his faultless display.
To get four points from those two sides after our EFL hammering is nothing short of stunning and cause for some hope.
(Terry, if you should be reading this, belated condolences.)
Excellent point, excellent attitude, who really cares what division they are in, but hope it stays this one
The clearance off trhe line from Curtis was about a centimetre away from being a goal.

I must say, Vidal, that on live view I thought it could have been in but thank goodness for the ref's wrist cam (or whatever they call it.!)
I have read on here that players won't try because they will have told their agents to find them a new club in January. It doesn't really look like that, does it?
To be cynical, the improvement in Lawrence's performances over the last two games could be construed as trying to impress would be buyers.
Roos MOTM for me.
Great to see Rooney walking off with his arm around your Liam.

Well, as the saying goes - you'd have settled for a point before the game wouldn't you - and 4 points out of 6 from the top two clubs is a good return....we just have to somehow turn it into points against the "lesser" teams don't we. But over these last 2 games we've showed that there's not that much difference in class between the "Have's" βand the
"Have nots" in the Championship....it's how you apply yourself..
I thought the Derby fans were immense and you could her them singing / chanting all game...so if you were there well done.
So on to the game :
1. Roos. My MOM. Totally atoned for his gaffe of Sunday and produced a string of saves and was faultless.
2. Fozzie. Had a great game and had Harry in his pocket all night.
3. The Defence. Solid as a Rock.
4. Midfield. Thought they looked a bit leggy tonight with Shinnie and Knight in particular with poor passing.. Not a criticism - just an observation. I like Bird in the more advanced role and he rarely puts a foot wrong.
5. Festy. Another who I thought looked tired and I thought Rooney should've brought CKR on shortly after hald time.
5. Tommo....Not perhaps the impact he had on Sunday but showed some good touches and also thought he looked a bit tired. A baptism of fire for the lad.
6. The Captain. Is responding to the extra responsibility Rooney has put on him and another good game in which he played well. Well done Tom.
...and so on to QPR. Is it a "must Win" game ??? Well lets face it they all are....but well done Derby for giving us hope....UTR

I don’t really hold out any hope of avoiding relegation so I don’t think we have any “must wins”. What we have shown though gives great optimism that Rooney can coach and galvanise a team that can compete with anybody and that also plays in a good way. Let’s not forget he has got the thinnest of squads to work with and since the club has been under embargo for such a long time he has only been able to bring in players that couldn’t get clubs elsewhere, together with kids from the Academy.
I also thought the midfield looked tired but there are no real options for rotation. Thompson has given us a lot more in there than Morrison in my opinion and even at 80% the tenacity of the midfield three was tremendous. Maybe Rameses is right when he says that all of our players will inevitably leave the club but I doubt it, and even if we do lose a good few then I think if Rooney can do this with no budget then what could he do if he is allowed to wheel and deal? We can spring back from League 1 if it comes to that. The performance of the team and fans last night showed what is possible when you get a bit of unity. The future might still be bright.
