Morrison is signed for the season. Jags and Balders were ‘exceptional’ allowances until mid Jan.
We'd be knackered without Jagielka.
I agree although I think Davies has been even better.

Terry, I may be wrong but I have an idea that Ravel is with us all season. Re Sib he never seems to be allowed to play in his best position and ends up wide right or left.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sibs has looked much better with/behind Plange as main striker. Not sure we have the luxury of doing that in the first team.

Not an imaginary phone. It's a copy of Mitrovic's trademark celebration which is a copy of Diomansy Kamara's celebration which in turn was a copy of Luca Toni's. Luca never revealed the origins of it and there are different theories, amongst them that he was suggesting that his mother used to ensure that he cleaned behind his ears properly and that perhaps the fans of opposing teams had not been so fortunate in their own upbringing.
I mean this is just basic stuff, Spart. Do your research.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And I don't believe Luca Toni's explanation. What footballer is going to admit to soliciting offers from other clubs.
Toni was clearly a very disgruntled player everywhere he went, because he did it for all of his career, including while playing for Italy. Presumably he was hoping some other country would offer him a different nationality.
Once he told the story he probably felt he had to continue. I did notice that last time I saw him play that he had two ears which rather suggests that he might have been making the story up. Had he been Van Gogh it would have been more believable. Tell me in your honest opinion, what activity Lawrence appeared to be doing, washing his ear or making a phone call.
I don't think he was doing either, I think he was mimicking Mitrovic but I have no idea why. Having your fingers outstretched and rotating is not the gesture of a telephone call. You phone would fall out of your hand, and even if it didn't the rotation would play havoc with the conversation. The universally accepted phone call gesture is to tuck in your index, middle and ring fingers and to extend the little finger and thumb before placing them against the side of the head. This latter celebration is in fact quite common. Gabriel Jesus has done it a lot amongst others, in his case supposedly to indicate he was going to phone him Mum.
I know you are a naturally sceptical person, and also that you have a natural tendency to contrariness that leads you to automatically disbelieve anything anyone ever says, especially if in doing so it indicates you have got something wrong. Therefore I suggest that rather than looking it up to confirm that what I am saying is correct, instead you say you haven't got the time.
I miss the conversations we used to have about schools closing. They were great!

Have instructed my younger lad to go and watch the Chelsea game as he lives in Loughborough. He says it is weather dependent. Poor attitude.

You could well be right, Scouse. I will be down in Brizzle this Saturday. I am staying with an ex-flatmate from when I was at Uni who I have not seen for more than thirty years. Stuff has happened in the intervening period so we have some catching up to do.

Take a walk on the wild side. 👍🏻
Concerning news this evening that the club could be closer to liquidation. The article I saw was in nobody's favourite Daily Mail citing unless HMRC reduce the debt levels potential bidders will walk away due to the magnitude of what needs to be paid.
It's also suggested that the creditors bill has come up to 2.4 million already? ( How is that possible????)
Yes there could be an element of BS ( but as the BS is not on the level of the journalist Nixon it's plausible), we've been told the next two weeks will dictate regards takeover.
By what point does the HMRC bill need to be paid? Is there a deadline?
I think it can be spread over a period if necessary. The administrators are supposedly trying to negotiate a deal of paying HMRC 25p in the pound on the basis that this is better than the 0p in the pound they will get if we are liquidated. To pay off the debt in full obviously adds a lot to the total amount any new owner would need to fork out and might mean them pulling out altogether. The administrators said that they were hoping to announce the preferred bidder in early December but I guess this must be contingent on doing a deal with HMRC.

As a matter of interest, around 12 years ago the company I worked for went bust owing around £500k, c.£30k - 40k to HMRC. The company "did a Phoenix" - which basically meant that none of the people owed money got a bean as there were no assets and the company was Limited. The company reformed in the same premises trading under a different name and employed exactly the same people. So in fact nothing changed except nobody got the money owed to them. I think DFS did the same many moons ago. I'm not saying DCFC can do the same - all I'm saying is don't read too much into things until the bomb drops. The Press will print anything negative these days to get clicks. I'd honestly be surprised if the Club gets liquidated. The HMRC will be well used to being owed huge chunks of money....
The EFL would force us to 'do a Rangers' if that were to happen though, because in the eyes of the EFL we wouldn't be the same club (as legally we wouldn't be the same club)
