Best thing...too many fans and players not interested. Conte now has full week training sessions.

Plus we can get rid of deadwood with no excuses now.

I was the same and Wanted to take it seriously but with the prem games getting cancelled I’m started to sway to it being a good thing being out (that’s the only reason though)

We aren’t too good for this tournament or we wouldn’t be in it

Just can’t get on board with fans looking down on this competition or any for that matter

Can’t make my mind up if it’s this attitude has come from the club to the fans or the fans have made this attitude go to the club

Rennes will obviously want us out of it, as it strengthens their chances of winning it, they will do us no favours and hope we are dumped out.

Good news and hopefully this will turn into a blessing in disguise. I was definitely the in it to win it camp at the start of the season, coefficient benefits etc. Our current situation has changed all that.

This will expedite a clear out. Europe gave us an excuse to have a bloated squad.

I think its more of the way it was done. I suspect Levy and the Club acted with a tinge of arrogance and disregard for Rennes.

Just like some of our fans act towards other European teams they believe are beneath them.

So what evidence do you have to back up this comment of arrogance by the club?
If the club does not take any action and the virus spreads even more throughout the club, then they would quite rightly be slaughtered by the media and fans.

We are a top 6 team in the strongest league in Europe, and in all likelihood should be challenging for top 4 this season. Whether we get into the top 4 is another matter. I would say this puts us high in the ranking of all the teams in the competition. Obviously it doesn't mean you're going to win it as any team can be beaten on the day by another, as we have already shown in this competition, but in terms of whether we SHOULD be looking to win it, then I would say yes.

Agreed just like we should be looking to win everything. Even our last cup win we were underdogs so it's key we all change our mentality to Europe and the league.

I think we will see one of two outcomes - Spurs vs Rennes in January or Vitesse vs Spurs in January as a decider.

I can’t believe for a second that Daniel Levy won’t have lawyers crawling all over it. I mean kicking us out like this is UEFA basically saying that we should have risked the health of both our players and Rennes
