Well well well. I see Pep is trying to get ANOTHER game cancelled over the Xmas period due to 'player emergencies'. It was only this time last year when Guardiola had a tough fixture away at Goodison called off for similar reasons
With Cancelo, Gundogan and Torres out, it would be tempting to say this is a good time to play City, but then you look at the bench, and you see Foden, Sterling and Bernardo champing at the bit, and you realise we have a job on our hands.
City were poor against 10 man Wolves and could have conceded at the end.

Add in the Bielsa effect on Guardiola, and a very good overall perfomarance against Chelsea, and I think we have the makings of a very good result at the Etihad, just like last year.
City look tired and if we can avoid giving away cheap penalties, I can see us taking 3 points. 2 - 0 to the mighty Whites, Raph and Joffie to show Guardiola how to get value for 20 million.

The gulf is huge. They don't need to even play well to win, with match winners all over the pitch and on the bench too.
We need to cut the costly mistakes out and not fook about with it at the back. Hopefully we don't get shafted by the ref again too.

With Cooper not playing tonight we should field 10 players and sit Dallas up front, that should worry them!..
And it'd be fun putting a bit off pressure on people,(not all!)here that are never giving the players a bit of slack!..
The team did very well at Chelsea and were unlucky to lose, the same as last year when nearly everybody said we had no chance against the top teams but did a lot better than most thought!..
These coming games will be the ones where the players Bielsa plays will give their all and it'll give the younger inexperienced players that get the chance a feel for top club football!..
If we lose all the so called top games at least it'll give them a feel for what is to come!..

I think I would prefer that, but it feels like a long long time since Bielsa used Shackleton in the centre of midfield and I would be surprised if he does today.
It worked with him on the right and Dallas at RB against Chelsea but Raphinha will have to be on the right today if fit so can't see us doing that again.
