Winks has earned his place in the squad - presumably via a good game against Liverpool, but Dele has despite playing well in the same game? And Stevie B finding some form because of 45 good minutes against west ham but Ndombele who has had many more good games for Spurs than that has to go?
I don’t disagree with all you say but there are some glaring inconsistencies.

Winks yes, because that performance against Liverpool he seemed like a new player and out performed Dele who we have seen a few false dawns from in the past before he reverts to type. But I have a feeling with Dele he will not want to leave to club.
Stevie B, I feel needs a run of games to get into a rhythm. I know he has a few haters on here but I have always thought there is a player there.
I can count about 4 or 5 good games Ndombele has had and he has been given alot more opportunies in the prem than others. Even against a makeshift Liverpool midfield he was not brilliant. A good assist for Kane but otherwise he was average.
Can't see him buying into Conte's work ethic either.

Don't forget I am talking about January, alot can happen between now and the summer in terms of players improving further under Conte or declining again like we have seen with Dele in the past.

Everything I’ve seen regarding Kessie has suggested a pre contract, not him coming in Jan.

Depends if Milan want some money for him in January or risk him leaving for free in the Summer. The fact he has refused a new contract gives me hope they would want some sort of fee for him. €10-15m should do it I reckon. Either way he won't be at AC Milan next season.

I have no beef with Ndombele going, it hasn’t worked out damned I doubt it ever will.
Doubt Bergwijn will get a run of games - judging by the way he, Dele and Winks have all been relegated back to the bench since we beat west ham it’s obvious Conte views them as squad options rather than starters.

I think he will start against Southampton and Lucas will be rested. He played the full 90 mins yday. But agree it will difficult for him to get a run of games in if Kane, Son and Lucas don't get injured. For me he is first choice reserve for the three starters.
That said he might want to go back to Holland. Who knows?

If a decent offer for Ndombele or Lo Celso or Dele came in cover the cost of Kessie then he could sign. Depends how badly Conte wants him too.

football.london understands that meeting with Paratici - a follow-up to the one a few weeks back when Conte asked for more time to evaluate his players - is yet to take place as the Italian wants to make sure he does not jettison players who could yet prove important going forward without thorough evaluation.
Conte has a reputation for taking those players not deemed to be stars by others and making them integral parts of his title-winning teams and the club will wait for his final evaluation before moving forward with what positions need replenishing or exits.
There is a current feeling within the club that the targets in January may end up being a new right wing-back, with Matt Doherty potentially moving on, a new left-sided centre-back to provide competition for Ben Davies and a natural number nine to allow Kane to be rotated when needed and provide him with extra support up front. Conte likes his main striker to be a 'reference point' for the team.
Ultimately though the decision over who stays and goes will be Conte's as he seeks to shape a squad befitting of his ambitions at Tottenham.

Our club, city, ground, training facilities, manager and "pushing 4th" should allow us to pick up the best players not on the "big boys'" radar.

We should hopefully be able to raise some funds from the sales of the following - Doherty, N’Dombele, Lo Celco, Ali. Obviously not all and I understand it’s difficult in Jan but if we could get a few players off the books plus inject some cash then it could be a game changer.

Good question. You would think that Conte would like that sort of headache. It's a good problem to have.
Would we really have a chance landing Vlahovic when bigger clubs are linked to him? I guess maybe the pull of Conte might be enough.
