Is there a fear clubs will start getting punished if they can't fulfill fixtures because un-vaxxed players have covid?
Think it's disgusting, as it's coercion.
Vaccinated players could end up self-isolating, especially given this new variant and whatever may come next.
I wouldn’t want an unvaccinated player simply because it would suggest they’re a dumb caaaant. Imagine being 2 years into a pandemic and still not wanting a vaccine. Their loss, not ours.

But having the vaccine could also reduce you from being infected. There’s more chance of you not self isolating if you take it.
Totally with Ralf on this. It is common sense.

There is a lot of truth to this imo. Regardless of the moral argument as to whether you think people should be forced to be vaccinated, people who aren't tend to be morons. If I was a manager, I'd want intelligent, receptive, tactically flexible footballers on my team. For that reason, vaccine status would affect my decision making in signing players.

It's also baffling that these morons have done their own research yet don't appreciate that an 80% reduction in hispitalisation from being vaccinated relative to unvaccinated is a good thing

Merry - that’s up to them. Freedom of choice. However, let’s not pretend everything was done perfectly. The process to create many of these vaccines didn’t not follow properly controlled scientific procedures which is unacceptable and inevitably leads to people losing confidence and not taking the vaccine

As does misinformation. The stats don't lie. The vaccinations dramatically reduce your chances of serious illness. No matter what doubt you wish to cast, there is no getting away from that fact, the ONLY fact that actually matters, in the greater scheme of these.
Yes they have the choice to not be vaccinated. But don't for one second think that managers shouldn't have the choice to reject them based on their stance. Klopp lost his mother to Covid. So it's understandable why he's so in favour of vaccination and can't hide his contempt for those who wish to exercise their right to choose to be morons.

I love the "I want to do my own research line"
Unless you're a qualified virologist etc you have as much understanding as the rest of the public
It's not "coercion" or denial of freedom of choice if a club decides not to sign an unvaccinated player. Clubs don't owe a living to players who aren't contracted to them, and it's totally reasonable to take into account their health risks or self-harming behaviour when deciding whether to invest millions of pounds in them.

Scientists are the most inherently argumentative community on the planet, and the peer review process is brutal. There is no chance the vaccines would have passed clinical trials if there was any suggestion at all of political pressure.
The fact that they're still in the monitoring period (in line with standard practice for any new pharmaceticals) means that the review (not approval) process in ongoing, so the suggestion of unscientific approval is nonsense.
We should only be signing players completely vaccinated. Against everything. COVID, Sars , aids, Ebola, yellow fever, donkey ccck disease, diphtheria, diarrhoea, mad cow disease, scouse cheating virus, polio, bubonic plague, modern fan moaning disease (Uww syndrome), cholera.
