Pretty much all of our family have hit it or had it. A couple of the elder ones struggled for a few short days but to everyone else it’s been not much more than a boring few days stuck at home.
NHS chiefs already saying no need for further restrictions. Wales drop their isolation period to 7 days like England. Not even going to consider it until next Wednesday and the limitations on numbers in hospitality and entertainment won’t be looked at for nearly another 3 weeks.
Wee Nic however wants to still wait. She’s onto a winner either way as if the NHS isn’t overwhelmed and hospitalisations start to drop, she’ll have protected us all and that’s the reason.
Isolation rules and hardly any testing availability for likely another two weeks at least means the country just grinds to a complete stop.
If however things get a lot worse she’s done the right thing and I can’t help but think that’s what some would want.
Germany dropping ban on U.K. travellers and France now allowing U.K. travellers to go through their country. What do they all know that Scotland doesn’t?

Where's the rebel in you, man? I aint talking 100+ but what's worse 20 untested people from 3 families or 15 from 5 all tested as I'm sure you would? We all have responsible decisions to make.
Son just said he was gonna ding a NY party cos it was 50+ and inevitable someone will have it. He'll meet with 4 or 5 mates though. Sensible. Won't get his hole though.

Oh err mrs.
It is, but not as strong as it used to be.
My opinion has changed on this as of this week, because i've seen the issue now.
I work in a kids home at weekends to help out. They are wiped out, everyone has it, i'm only there now and then to support and i'm in the next 3 days. Everyone has it and there is nobody to look after the kids.
My mum works in a home as a senior and has been begged to go in, offered triple time as they (again) have nobody available, everyone has it. There are about 170 residents in her unit alone, shes literally the only senior on.
It might dwindle but at this point its brutal.

I get that, jfk. Ginger right too - Nic is onto a winner. The frustration is the fear played out of hospitalisations, ICU, deaths, collapse of the NHS when in reality the message ought to have been about flattening the curve to keep businesses, care and whatever else open but we never heard that, only project fear 73 which people see through so they don't believe any of it, understandably?
Staff in mine have it. Last time it was in the unit those without symptoms could come in a look after the kids who had it in a seperated part of the building.
Unfortunately this isnt an option this time. Tbh i cant see how i avoid catching it over this weekend.
