Not feeling as confident without Forshaw. He leaves a big hole in the midfield, and it's hard to see how we will control the game. I think Koch will come into this position, but it's not an ideal use of his skills. This will allow Shelvey to run at us.
I expect Wood and ASM to get one each. Wood, because he will get much better service than he has done at Burnley, and ASM, because he is ASM.
However, their defence is pants and they are leaking an average of 2 goals a game.
Our defence looks so much better with Struijk and Llorente in charge.
I think this will be another nerve shredder, with Harrison and James to get on the scoresheet, and a late winner from Raph to seal a 3 - 2 win.

Why would Wood get better service than at a team built around giving him service?

2-0 Leeds.

Why would Koch go into his position? He will stay in holding midfield where he played last 2 games.

Forshaw will be replaced by Rodrigo, Dallas or Bate.

I expect Rodrigo to come in for him and Dallas replace Firpo at LB.

Koch has shown his skills work well at holding midfield against a much better side in West Ham.

Struijk is our best CB and made a huge difference in the last game. So happy to have him back.

Not sure which way it'll go. Should win but wouldn't suprise me if we choked. Will go 2-1 win with a Rodrigo penalty to win it.

I meant Koch in front of the back four and Rod ahead of him, but if Roberts is fit, I wouldn't be surprised to see him replace Rod, if Shelvey starts to boss the midfield. Bate has done well when he has come on, but Bielsa tends to play his first team players when they are available. Come on, Tyro, time for a hat-trick.

i get fed up with people who think all players we sign can hit the ground running, less than 1% of players signed by any team do.

there are sooooooooo many factors why players do not settle right away

give it a rest

Norwich 2 up at Watford. Out of bottom three as it stands. Watford drop to 18th.

Coutinho scored and got an assist 20 mins into his debut . Think you're the one that needs to give it a rest .

He didn't get an assist. He was tackled, and the ball ran to Ramsey. His goal was also as easy as they come.

I don't get this, I am not saying we are safe and free from the threat of relegation but why three from six, are Brentford one of the six, played two more than us and one point above us, or Southampton two points above us, played one game more and playing City tomorrow, or Palace played one game more than us, two points better off but playing Liverpool tomorrow.
Shaun, am I biting when others are not taking the bait.

I think if you open the relegation battle to include us then you have to include the teams directly above us. Silly not to, really. Be disingenuous not to. Think it will be three of the current bottom 4, though. Said at the start that too many people were writing off Norwich.

Brentford are in horrible form at the moment

Would be very surprised if the side is anything other than the side named by Outwood;

Meslier
Ayling Llorente Struijk Dallas
Koch
Raphinha Klich Rodrigo Harrison
James

I’m expecting a comfortable victory too.

Form is temporary and it’s showing now.

Maybe we’ve had our dip? We’ve had some horrible luck with injuries and faced some teams in their best form at the same time.

Now look around us. Watford can’t buy a win. Brentford, for all their excellent start and expectations, are dipping massively.

Norwich whilst out of it for now have played more games. Everton have been sucked in too.

I’d say nobody up to Palace is safe but realistically it’s three from the current bottom five to me. Out of those I see Norwich and Toon as the ones who might escape.

Today is a must not lose for us. I’ll say 3-1 but I’m not over confident.

I’ll have my lucky shirt on at the game.

HUGE pressure of Newcastle today especially given last nights result. They’ll have to come and be on the offensive from the start - plays to our advantage on the counter

Keep the Saint quiet and we win this. He’s a match winner though if you let him be.
