That's that then, terrible goal to give away
I'd like to see the Lockman tackle for penalty
And Ffs

6-2 manager sacked, big Sam on a 6 month contract
About Time, shame it's when we're 4-1 down.
Playing withh 11 men at last
“Tielemans going off…goodness” quipped someone on the box, I think. Yes, he should have rounded it up by saying he’s done fack all.
To be absolutely fair, 4-1 doesn’t flatter Forest at all. Been surprisingly dominant, and could easily have scored more.

We did play with Ten men for most of the Match and have a Sh!t Manager to be fair.
Well where do we even start with that
RODGERS OUT is a Great start.
That 2nd half was absolutely pitiful, needing a 2 goals, couldn’t keep the ball, can’t defend, did not look like scoring.
Shameful.
He always gets found out in the end

This. It’s starting to look very worrying. We didn’t even give them a game, that’s the big concern. When chasing the game we put players on and barely troubled them.
Awful result. Town us buzzing.
So we've had a major defensive proplem for ever
And brendan has insisted on basically ignoring it to try playing his system
Which he'd said last season is missing a couple of players to achieve it,
Yet in that time knowing the players he has are not good enough to play that system he's done nothing
To get the team sorted either in transfers or coming
Up with something the players can play,,,
Tielemans is a prime example he needs space and time
to perform, he's not got it this season as the midfield
Is always under pressure,,
If he can't adopt to a more physical game drop jil to the bench till 60 minutes when teams tire,,,
Yet he insists playing him,,
Has brendan got enough in the locker to survive???
Last season and this going backwards and now playing religion football,,,
Right so just the Europa Conference League left, I await our exit to Randers, a team most people have never heard of.
Oh and Liverpool Thursday, could be ugly.
Ten Men against Liverpool is a scary thought after that.
So Brendan has pulled out excuse number 3
The Players this week.
Just go, go on and F&ck OFF.
Perhaps the most damning indictment of the current malaise at the football club is that I'm not nearly as angry or horrified as I would have been even 6 months ago. Not mad, just disappointed.
It feels very much like the final days of Ranieri and Puel. Shambolic, half-arsed, mistake-ridden performance with no heart, no desire and no quality.
IMO it starts from the manager. Blathering on about reaching our 'pinnacle' and giving wavering players an excuse to want out and stop giving their all. If we truly have reached the heights we can and we only have mid-table finishes to look forward to from now on, we simply cannot continue to pay a manager £10m a season.
The squad needs an overhaul. Too many players who are either not up to standard (Ward, Amartey, Lookman, Perez, The Southampton duds) or don't have the heart to be here (Tielemans, Soyuncu, Ricardo). Big changes needed and changes that will determine what the next 5 years hold for the football club.
I don't think I trust Rodgers to oversee that overhaul.
Can’t argue with any of that Foxello.
Suggest we get Iverson in the squad for next season. I believe he can also come for crosses!
Spot on assessment Foxello, the managers comments were bizarre considering when he first got the job the his aim was to try and break into the top six. Imagine being a player hearing the nonsense he’s been spouting recently.
At least the players let out their frustrations with a decent party later
Of course, while his Teammates were having a party, Mendy was winning the AFCON with his Team, the same Mendy that Rodgers didn't give a squad number to.
Is it really bad that I get tired reading what True Blue has to say about Tielemans.
TB. Whatever it is you have against him, please articulate it to us all properly. I really don't understand the beyond-partisan approach you seem to be taking against one player. It's a team game and you seem to just keep digging him out (week after week). It is tiring reading it and I for one can't understand why you're doing it.
Did you do it when he scored in the Cup Final last May? Just one example of several where he is a total legend and wins us one of the biggest games the club has ever played in.
The team lost as a whole yesterday. I echo Foxello's comments and agree with them. That said, all this talk about "Rodgers out" is equally irritating. We need to be a club that is different to everyone else. It isn't sustainable sacking managers every 2-3 years. Short term visions. Rodgers has shown he has what it takes at this level generally. Yes, he might get it wrong occasionally and he might identify a poor player to sign or a poor set of tactics. But the players still need to do it. There was no reflection of what it means to play against Forest yesterday. It is down to the players to know the history (and geography) as much as it for managers to set the team up and prepare them tactically, physically and to an extent psychologically for a match.
Brendan's coaches are letting him down terribly this season. Kolo Toure is robbing a living as defensive coach and it shows. Stowell was a second rate keeper in his day and his coaching of our keepers now is equally second rate. If I was Schmeichel, would I listen to him, given the gulf in ability and honours? No, I wouldn't.
His scouting team and recruitment team haven't got anything for him in January. Fine. There's a lot of money being ploughed into the infrastructure of the club, in terms of training ground, youth team, now the new stadium/vicinity plans. Oh and it's been 2 years of covid with our owner's primary industry being travel. There is absolutely no wonder we are where we are at the moment and it ought not to take a rocket scientist to see that and to understand it isn't so easy as "why are we this bad" and "we shouldn't be losing to Forest/whoever". Why not? Forest are playing pretty well under Cooper, built up a decent head of steam midway through this season and look a decent shout for play-offs. It was at the City Ground. We've not played them in 8-odd years and they're right up for it. I don't disagree we should be too, but the manager can only do so much in team-talks. Forest's players played better than us and 11 v 11, outfought us. We helped with sloppy mistakes, especially the first 2 goals. Goal 3... we've seen it all season. Goal 4 is just them high on confidence and we're chasing.
I personally don't think we need Rodgers to go. I do think he needs to be firmer with his backroom staff, as they're making him look bad on matchdays and the players who aren't cutting the mustard (on or off the pitch, as late last night shows...) need to be put in the reserves to train and play until they know what it means to do things properly.. apart from JJ of course... we need him! Yep, double-standards from me, but he is needed and it wasn't great for him to be seen out like that, but Hamza has form and Ward is playing second fiddle for a reason.
Move on. More to play for. Get behind them regardless. It's what we do.
