Loved him.

Him and Diego Costa never saw eye to eye though….

One of the best recent era prem midfielders and one we still haven't replaced.

Remember reading the evening standard in 2014 and laughing at Les Ferdinand saying about how no one could tackle him and he was Zidane like, cause we didn't see much from up until Poch joined.

Then proved to be a pivotal part of the team which since his decline and departure hasn't been the same.

Unique. Irreplaceable.

As a neutral, I really enjoyed watching Dembele play. Always thought he was a bit wasted at Spurs and they Spurs' recent decline coincided with him leaving.

Possibly. Not the only Moussa/Mousa one albeit the former only played 2 games before Fulham dropped.

Loved him!

Get him back to the club, he could mentor a number of players. Though I imagine a lot of we he had, you can't teach.

How do you feel about Neves, Neto, Kilman and Podence? Do you think they will have a good careers if they stay Wolves? 🤭

He was probably the best player I've seen in the Prem at dribbling through the midfield and getting out of pressure situations. We had Cazorla who was excellent at that too.

Would've been interesting to see him play further forward given his talents with the ball but maybe he didn't have that killer instinct for a shot or assist

They will all probably move eventually if Wolves' ambition doesn't match theirs. I'm not deluded.

Pochettino in 2017: "I always say to him, ‘Mousa, when I write my book you will be one of the five geniuses I have been lucky enough to meet'. Maradona, Ronaldinho, Okocha, De la Pena and Mousa Dembele."

Incredibly underrated by other supporters for me. Obviously very highly rated by people that watched him week in week out, but no others really understand just how good he was.

No, that was one thing in his game that was lacking, his ability to score goals. But his incredible ball retention and build up play to set up attacks was just superb. Goal scorer he wasn’t though.

Got a feeling for some reason that he actually started his career as a striker and was moved back into midfield.

Yeah fair enough. Provided the right players are in front of him then the sky's the limit
