Would like to see him manage Brazil.
If he goes to Italy, surely he needs to go to AC Milan. Rebuilding the giant.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He could eradicate any doubt over his greatness if he were to do that.
I hope he stays. We want to vanquish City while he is still there helplessly looking on wondering who he will buy next with the doped up oil money.

If he was after a challenge, he’d go to Ajax and implement his game there with little resources and see what he can achieve.

If he really wanted a challenge he would pop over to the red side of Manchester...
may-b he will coach Napoli when Jeff Bezos buys the club next yr?

No challenge there. How do you think going to the biggest spenders in the world would be a challenge beyond the first season.

City will need a rebuild soon as a lot of their players are getting old.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
From the current squad:
Fernandinho 36
Scott Carson 35
Kyle Walker 31
Ilkay Gundogan 31
Kevin de Bruyne 30
Riyad Mahrez 30
Ederson is 28. All the other players are 27 or younger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just for context...
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/premier-league/altersschnitt/wettbewerb/GB1
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Im sure another £1bn or so will help to transition the squad to a younger av. age.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But the squad is already younger than yours
Maybe 1 billion so that when we win the league you are 60 points behind

I love Barcelona but it helps that I have a few close friends there. Often travel up to the Pyrenees or Costa Brava which are both beautiful. Culturally it's also more vibrant that other Spanish cities I think.
Spain has so many beautiful cities but personally I think Barcelona is quite different which is what makes it great.

Haven't been yet, but I have the feeling Sevilla has an electricity about it that I didn't get from Barcelona.
By the way, it was this discussion that made me write the above article.
On the OP, Guardiola staying longer wouldn't be good news for United but it could be good news for the possibility of recruiting Ten Hag.

His wife runs a business over there, I'm sure that between them they can afford the odd trip on Ryanair.
Really enjoyed Seville but in a very different way, saw some lovely Flamenco dancing, one run by a woman who reminded me of Sylvester Stallone. Thought so, I tried to have a think but it was too hard, I’d probably have to be a really really unloyal as a player and move every 3 years to take in a few places.
Barcelona is my favourite city outside the UK. I love it, could very happily live there.
Re Pep, if he stays it's great for City,, wonderful football and trophies.

Madrid is a lovely city, Barcelona is great but feels a bit Dublin-y. Las Ramblas feels just as much a tourist rip off as Temple Bar.
Didn't like Dublin at all tbh
