What more can we say - a win by any means is what’s needed
I think this is potentially a tougher game than Blackburn - but it’s at times like this where we’ll find out whether we’re good enough and also whether we believe we’re capable of making a serious challenge
I know there are still 16 games left to play and an awful lot of points up for grabs, but if we’re serious about making a push for promotion this season, then it’s games like this where we really need to put down a marker

A really interesting read, when we played Stoke earlier in the season and list 1-0
Seriously, if you get chance read through some of the comments from back then

It is interesting read, some comments did raise a smile and some relief that we no longer in that situation!
Although the squad he had to pick from was poor and when you look at the teams in those first 6 games, was a really tough start, you could feel some sympathy for CH! The fact is getting Cooper in has been the best thing to happen to us for 2 decades!
Can see us beating Stoke this weekend, maybe 2-1
What it showed to me was just how poor CH’s selections and tactics were
Totally different proposition to Leicester, and as stated, potentially more physical than Blackburn. Stokes recent record against us is ok, but at last we are starting to sort out or home form, ‘udders apart we’ve looked pretty solid, and on most nights we’d have won that one. Davis or Surridge upfront doesn’t really matter, in fact I’d like to see both start, that is probably an ask too far. A bit late to say it now, but I think Taylor may well have thrived playing alongside either of those two, a target man is exactly what he needed, but wouldn’t consider trying to second guess Cooper. Tomorrow is more of a don’t lose game than must win, as it’s so tight all around sixth place. I wouldn’t expect many changes tomorrow, but feel confident we can win this, first goal will be massive, but play as we have been doing and fancy us 2-0. As you say it’s good to be following the tricky trees atm, sure there’ll be ups and downs during the remainder of the season, but hopefully more of the former and less of the latter. COYRs.

The point I was trying to make was anyone who had the pool of players CH had against the opponents (Coventry, Bournemouth, Blackburn and Stoke) would have found it tough.
Still, all water under the bridge and Cooper took it on and has done brilliantly!
One nice aspect of recent Form and cup run is how positive non-Forest football fans have been, feels like a lot of people wishing good things for us as they can see we are an exciting team with vibrant fan base.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast, SC will have to seriously consider rotating the squad. There were definitely signs of tiredness against Blackburn.
Of those who didn’t start against Blackburn the only ones I would trust to play a good 90 minutes are Zinc, and Surridge. Maybe Figs, Silva, and Cafu; Grabbs and Mighten when fit. Laryea is an unknown quantity so could do with time on the pitch as a sub when it is safe.
I expect Zinc to start today not sure who would drop out though.

Zinc in for Yates...
Mighten is on the bench, that's a positive.
Early game went in our favour today with a goalless draw
Really could with cementing ourselves in the playoffs
They've just hit the cross bar! we're asleep again.

We could do with Boro dropping points.
My first preference is for a Derby to be relegated - that is number 1 priority - if that means Boro take points and make it more difficult for us, then so be it
Jonno is off the pace a bit today...
Think the whole team are finding it tough
Ref not helping
