I’m scared to take a paracetamol pill as how do you know what might happen to me in 10 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for highlighting my point
Paracetamol has been around for decades so we know exactly what it does and then possible effects
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet there is a school of thought that paracetamol wouldn't be approved today - ineffective (relatively) and some potentially severe side-effects.
In terms of vaccine mechanism, historic side-effect presentation and data from over 10 billion subjects, the vaccine is safe.
The simple reality here is that people in favour of the vaccine will look at the existing data to justify their stance and people opposed to the vaccine will raise questions on data that doesn't exist (due to longevity of use).
And no amount of pointing to data will sway those opposed; no amount of questioning the unknown will sway those in favour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep totally agree
I am just not going to be ‘dictated’ to and told that I MUST put something into my body if I don’t want to
It’s a simple matter of choice, and I don’t care what restrictions are imposed, I will not bow down to such dictatorship
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’re in a pandemic so if the ‘cost’ of being lucky enough to be playing tennis during a pandemic is to be vaccinated then that’s the price to pay. No one is forcing him to have it and fair enough, if he doesn’t want it that’s his choice and his loss. The world moves on.

Tbh, I quite understand people who say this is personal choice and they won't be told what to do. I agree, it is a choice and you shouldn't be told what to do.
I also have a certain respect for those that take that view fully aware that they will have to sacrifice other freedoms because of their choice.
I have less respect for those that make the choice and then complain about the consequences of that choice.
And I have significantly less respect for those that claim the vaccine is unsafe. It's demonstrably not.

Yes, totally agree with you
My choice is not to take the vaccine, and I have to live with those consequences - I’ve already forfeited my brother in law’s 50th Birthday celebration because it was said those attending need to be vaccinated, I also accept that travelling abroad for the foreseeable future in also off the agenda, as their rules stipulate you are to be vaccinated
I respect the conditions, even though I don’t agree with them - but they are the rules which I have to respect for choosing not to be vaccinated
But that is MY choice

Yes I understood that - my respect for him is that he’s prepared to sacrifice and forfeit his entire career and future Titles with his stance not to be jabbed - that is pretty incredible to me

Nearly all if not all medication comes with some risk or side effect. I have been taking pentasa for 8 years daily and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
I have to get my kidney function tested every 6 months to ensure there is no impact. However the alternative to stopping taking it is I'd lose part of my intestines

As a Facebook doctor I prescribe you 3 parts Metallica and 4 parts Debbie Harry.

With a side order of susanna hoffs
Such a long winded way to say you are scared of needles.
